Casual Talent Path
Always know your next talent – right in your talent window.
Casual Talent Path is a leveling talent guide for TBC Anniversary. Pick a ready-made build or import your own, and Casual Talent Path shows you which talent comes next and at what level – directly on the Blizzard talent window. No extra window, nothing in the middle of your screen.
Features
Your next talents at a glance
- The next 5 talent points show their level above the talent icon, e.g.
20-21. - The very next pick is labeled in green, the following ones in gold.
- Several points in the same talent are grouped into one label, e.g.
10-14.
Glow when it's time to spend a point
- As soon as you have an unspent talent point, the next talent pulses with a glow.
- The talent tree tab you need lights up too, so you know which tree to open.
- No free point – no glow. Nothing distracts you while leveling.
Ready-made leveling builds
- A complete level 10–70 path for every class – click a spec icon and you're done.
- Hover an icon for details: tree, point split, level range and what makes the build special.
- Weapon and playstyle variants (dual wield, two-handed, mace, sword, fist weapon, wand…) have a small corner badge, so you can pick the one that matches your gear.
Import your own build
- Paste a Wowhead talent calculator link – Casual Talent Path reads the talent order from the link, so every point gets the right level.
- Links without a talent order still work – Casual Talent Path estimates a sensible order for you.
- Or paste a simple export string:
level:tree:tier:column,...
Dual spec aware
- Talent ranks and free points are always read from your active spec.
- Labels and glows only show while the talent window displays your active spec – never on your inactive spec or on pet talents.
Fits right in
- The Casual Talent Path button is a side tab that matches the dual-spec tabs.
- It moves out of the way automatically when another addon already uses that spot.
- Updates instantly when you switch trees or specs.
How it works
- Open your talent window (N).
- Click the Casual Talent Path tab on the right side of the talent window.
- Pick a build by clicking a spec icon – or paste a Wowhead link / export string and click Import.
- Level up. When you have a free point, follow the glow.
Getting a Wowhead link with talent order: on the Wowhead TBC talent calculator, click the
talents in the order you want to learn them, then copy the URL, e.g.
https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/talent-calc/priest/--50005051/2AEhG
The last part (2AEhG) is the talent order – the first point is level 10, then one per level.
You stay in control
- Casual Talent Path never spends talent points for you – it only shows you the way.
- Every character remembers its own build, so your Priest and your Warrior can follow different paths.
- Lightweight – it only does work while the talent window is open.
