What's new

12.1.5

  • Added support to 12.1.5.
  • Added new treasures in The Labyrinth of Kindo'jan.
  • Added a new tracking system: Class/race skills In WoW Forever, it's possible to track the blips shown on the minimap, so RareScanner now uses them to track rare/custom NPCs (any type of NPC hunters can track, humanoids for druids, and treasures for dwarves).
    • NOTE: This feature is disabled in retail as the functions needed to work don't exist, however, I have added it just in case Blizzard ports them to this client.
  • Added a new tracking system: Soft target. Now the addon can track NPCs/containers/treasures around you. It's more limited than nameplates, but until now, there was no other way to track containers around you in classic versions.
    • NOTE: This tracker enables an in-game option that adds an icon above interactive NPCs and objects. If you don't want to see them, disable this tracker under RareScanner -> General tab.
  • Added a load bar to show that the addon is calculating the best route.
  • Added small code improvements to the explorer.
  • Updated third party libraries:
    • HereBeDragons
    • WowAce
  • Added a new tool that translators will love. Until now, the addon included static names for everything: achievements, NPCs, items, spells, etc. Now it uses dynamic codes that automatically translate and colorize text in tooltips, significantly reducing translation work.
  • Fixed: World map faction filter integration.
    • Note: Highlighted entities (rare NPCs, containers) for selected factions now correctly display on the map again after the changes made in Midnight.
  • Updated russian localizations (thanks to Hollicsh).
  • Updated simplified chinese localizations (thanks to LvWind).
