QuietUI v0.6.0
What's new
New features
- In range: an optional green tint on your target’s nameplate shows when a living target is within reach. Choose 10 yards, 28 yards, or Spell, with Unfriendly or Friendly targets.
- Enter a spell name to use its range. It does not need to be on an action bar.
- Leave the Spell field empty to use the longest matching spell on bar 1.
- Especially useful while leveling: check the range of your opening spell while the bars are hidden, then let the combat HUD appear automatically when the fight starts.
- Require a living target: optionally fade the player, pet, and target frames when your selected target dies. This also applies during combat and Glance; Edit Mode still shows the frames.
- Micro menu fading: hover anywhere across the menu row to reveal it. Glance and Edit Mode also show it, and the new Visible option can keep it on screen.
- Info tab: a short introduction to QuietUI and Glance in the setup window.
Improvements and fixes
- Smoother fading for player frames, resources, auras, chat messages, and the chat input.
- Money and experience messages now respect your chat tab filters.
- Original chat works normally after QuietUI or Modern chat is disabled.
- Enemy and Friend bar rules update when a target dies or changes faction.
- Fixed action bar visibility updates with a stationary mouse.
- Corrected damage meter visibility, including its 10-second post-combat delay.
- Refreshed the bundled Edit Mode layout.
- Reduced repeated frame scans and target checks.
Configuration
Open /quiet setup or click the QuietUI minimap button. Both new target options are on the Player tab and default to off. Click Save to apply your choices.
