Each word was read against the quest sentence it actually appears in, the translation corrected where it was wrong — 34% of them were — and a note added where the word teaches you something: an elision pulled apart, a false friend, the sense the game actually means. 88% of entries carry a note.

suppôts is minions, not "supports". roublards is cunning, not "rogues". ressac is the undertow, not a surfing term. rase-mottes is hedge-hopping, whatever a dictionary's first entry says.

That is the difference between a glossary that gets you through a quest and one you can learn from.
