Quest Voices RU

Russian quest voice-over for World of Warcraft Classic Era: NPCs read the quest text aloud.

Accept a quest and the NPC tells it in their own voice; turn it in and they thank you. 3902 quests, 8720 voice lines, about 54 hours of speech — 93% of level 1–60 quests are voiced.

This addon is for the Russian game client (ruRU) only. On other client languages it stays silent.

Requirements

• VoiceOver 1.4.5 or newer — the player, required. The CurseForge app installs it automatically.
• VoiceOver Sounds - Vanilla - ruRU — optional fallback Russian voice-over for the remaining 7% of quests.

How it works

Quest Voices RU is a voice data module for VoiceOver. For every line VoiceOver picks the highest-priority module that has it: Quest Voices RU first (with male and female player variants where the text differs), then the Russian VoiceOver pack if installed, otherwise silence.

Compatibility

• WoW Classic Era 1.15, Russian client (tested on 1.15.9).
• Do not enable CatQuest with its voice pack at the same time — quests would be voiced twice.
• Restart the game after installing (/reload is not enough).
• To uninstall, delete the AI_VoiceOverData_QuestVoices_RU folder: VoiceOver loads voice modules even when they are disabled in the addon list.

• Voice-over — CatQuest Voices by Cathey (daniilcathey), version 0.7.1, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. The audio is unchanged: only file names and indexes were adapted so that VoiceOver can play it.

Берёте квест — NPC рассказывает его голосом, сдаёте — благодарит. 3902 квеста, 8720 реплик, около 54 часов речи; озвучено 93% квестов с 1 по 60 уровень.

Что нужно

• VoiceOver 1.4.5 или новее — плеер, обязателен. Приложение CurseForge поставит его само.
• VoiceOver Sounds - Vanilla - ruRU — по желанию: запасная русская озвучка. Озвучивает то, чего нет в Quest Voices RU (оставшиеся 7% квестов).

Как это работает

Quest Voices RU — модуль озвучки для VoiceOver. На каждую реплику VoiceOver берёт модуль с наибольшим приоритетом, у которого она есть:

1. есть в Quest Voices RU — играет она (для мужского или женского персонажа, если у реплики два варианта);
2. нет — играет русский пак VoiceOver, если он установлен;
3. нет нигде — тишина.

В одном квесте голоса могут смениться: взятие — голосом Quest Voices RU, сдача — голосом русского пака. Приветствия NPC без квеста в Quest Voices RU не озвучены — их играет русский пак.

Совместимость

• WoW Classic Era 1.15, русский клиент (проверено на 1.15.9). На других языках клиента модуль молчит.
• Не включайте одновременно CatQuest с его озвучкой — квесты зазвучат дважды.
• После установки перезапустите игру (не /reload).
• Удаление — удалить папку AI_VoiceOverData_QuestVoices_RU: VoiceOver загружает модули озвучки, даже если они выключены в списке аддонов.

• Озвучка — CatQuest Voices, автор Cathey (daniilcathey), версия 0.7.1, лицензия CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Звук не изменён: поменялись только имена файлов и индексы, чтобы его мог проигрывать VoiceOver.
• Плеер — VoiceOver, mrthinger, xvwyh и соавторы (ставится отдельно).
• Сборка — ReSenpai, исходники и issues на GitHub.

Это неофициальная сборка: авторы VoiceOver и CatQuest Voices в ней не участвуют и не одобряли её. Об ошибках пишите в issues.
