The Midnight expansion module for PSW Hunt for the Rares.

Adds high-detail rare tracking, Hunt Mode integration, encounter guidance and routing across Midnight's outdoor zones, subzones and special hunt areas.

Midnight Support

The module includes expansion-specific rare definitions, map data, completion signals, routing and encounter guidance where supported.

Hunt Mode

Supported Midnight rares can participate in HFTR's built-in Hunt Mode where the encounter lifecycle and game state provide enough information to do so safely.

Hunt Mode can:

• guide you toward eligible remaining rares
• skip completed or unavailable targets when HFTR has a reliable signal
• use HFTR's built-in navigation arrow
• work without TomTom
• provide cave, patrol, summon and activation guidance
• handle multi-location, interior-map and special-access encounters
• keep current-expansion encounters separate from optional Heroic World Tier hunts

Live detection remains authoritative whenever a supported rare is actually present.

Midnight Encounter Types

Midnight uses a wide mix of encounter types including ordinary rares, interior encounters, cave routes, long patrols, special interactions, Heroic World Tier enemies and encounters with state or access requirements.

HFTR keeps these mechanics separate rather than flattening everything into a generic rare model.

Examples include:

• interior routing through the Vaults of Atal'Utek and The Underbelly
• Tomb of the Lost Priest routing
• Blackstar Legion Heroic World Tier patrols in Val
• Warp Rider patrols in Naigtal
• multi-stage and special-access hunts across current Midnight zones

Where the game exposes reliable state, HFTR uses it. Where it does not, the addon prefers conservative guidance over guessing.

Heroic World Tier Hunts

Midnight includes additional Heroic World Tier encounters that are tracked separately from normal zone rare progress.

These include supported patrol groups such as:

• Blackstar Legion patrols in Val
• Warp Riders in Naigtal

These encounters remain available as hunts without being mixed into the standard rare-completion lists.

Current-Content Accuracy

Midnight is HFTR's current-expansion module and is treated with the highest verification standard in the addon.

Rare identities, map placement, encounter mechanics, interior routing and available game-state signals are researched and verified against current Retail data wherever possible.

HFTR does not fabricate live spawn timers or availability states when Blizzard does not expose enough information to know them safely. Live detection remains authoritative.

Current Release Status

Midnight v0.8.12 is the current HFTR Midnight release.

This release completes the latest verification pass for the current Midnight roster, improves several interior routes and refines Heroic World Tier patrol guidance.
