Description
How often does your gear proc?
Proc Rate adds the official proc numbers to item tooltips, so you can compare trinkets, enchants and embellishments without leaving the game.
On every item with a proc
- Procs per minute, plus how many you get with your current haste or crit for procs that speed up with them.
- Your spec's rate when a proc is tuned per spec.
- Chance on hit for procs that work that way.
- Cooldown between procs, when there is one.
- How long the buff lasts, including set bonuses that make it last longer once you wear enough pieces.
Example: Proc Rate 2/min · 2.46 with your haste · 12s buff
What it covers
- Trinkets, weapons and other gear, including procs from an item's upgrade track or variant (like Venomcursed gear) and from crafted embellishments.
- Enchants on your gear, and enchant scrolls in your bags or on the auction house, so you can compare before buying.
- Gems, on their own and socketed.
- Optional crafting reagents that add a proc to what you craft, like sigils and Ritual Stones.
- Set bonuses, on each piece of the set. A bonus meant for one spec shows only when you play that spec.
Everywhere you see items
Bags, the character sheet, chat links, the auction house, the dungeon journal and loot windows.
Retail
Works on Retail (Midnight 12.1).
Good to know
- Items with no proc, or a proc whose rate the game doesn't publish, get no line.
- Talents and spells aren't covered: the game works out most of their procs on Blizzard's servers, so there's no official rate to show.
- The numbers are the game's official ones, not measured from your own fights.
- /procrate shows the version.
