Description

Phocus

Phocus is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon designed to make interrupt awareness easier during combat. It places a customizable icon next to your focus target's nameplate and updates it based on your current class and specialization.

What it does

Phocus helps you keep track of your interrupt spell at a glance. When you set a focus target, the addon displays the relevant interrupt icon and shows a cooldown timer whenever that ability is unavailable.

Features

  • Displays an interrupt icon near the focus target nameplate
  • Automatically selects the correct interrupt spell for your class and specialization
  • Shows a visible cooldown countdown while the interrupt is on cooldown
  • Supports custom interrupt tracking for each class and specialization
  • Lets you customize size, zoom, position, frame layering, and cooldown tint
  • Includes a custom icon override option using a custom icon ID
  • Provides an in-game settings panel for quick configuration

How it works

Once you set your focus target, Phocus anchors an icon to that nameplate and updates it automatically based on your current specialization. If your interrupt is ready, the icon appears normally; if it is on cooldown, the addon displays a timer and changes the icon's appearance to make the status obvious.

  • Type /ph or /phocus in chat to pull up options menu

Notes

Phocus is designed to be a simple utility addon for interrupt awareness in PvE, and boss encounters. It is ideal for players who want a clear visual cue without adding unnecessary clutter to the UI.
