PartyDown

PartyDown is an addon that watches for people ready to party and gets them into your group without turning chat into a full-time job.

 

What it do?

•  Watches your selected chat sources for an exact, case-insensitive trigger phrase. The default is **x**, because sometimes that is all it takes.
• Ignores your own messages and avoids repeat invitations to the same player.
• Accepts Quick Join requests from players asking to join your party while PartyDown is enabled. It does not accept party invitations sent to you. Converts a full five-player party to a raid before inviting the next player, when you are the leader and raid conversion is enabled.
• Optionally removes AFK members after a configurable delay. Dungeon removal stays off unless you explicitly enable it.

Who it do?

PartyDown is for whoever is building a group: dungeon runners, quest crews, raid wranglers, and anyone who has typed "x for invite" one too many times. You can use it alone or in a group; group invitations and member removal require you to be the group leader.

How it do?

Turn PartyDown on, choose the chat sources to watch, and set the phrase people need to say. When someone posts that exact phrase in a watched channel, PartyDown sends the invite. It starts disabled every time the addon loads, so it only starts gathering players when you are ready.

• Left-click: toggle auto-invites.
• Right-click: open settings.
• Drag: move the minimap button.
