Keep your boomstick where folks can see it.

Boomstick is developed for WoW Forever and keeps your chosen weapon sheath state ready without making you babysit it.

What it do?

• Keeps weapons sheathed, melee, or ranged after you have been out of combat and otherwise occupied for the configured delay.
• Checks again while you are eligible, correcting a weapon state changed by another game action.
• Waits while you are fighting, casting, channeling, mounted, sitting, or emoting.
• Keeps its mouth shut by default. Diagnostic logs are there when you want to see what it is thinking.

Who it do?

Boomstick starts ready for hunters who want their bow on show. It also works for every other class if you decide your weapons have been modest long enough. New non-hunter characters start disabled, so it will not whip it out without your say-so.

It settings too

Open Settings, select AddOns, then select Boomstick. Every setting is saved per character:

• Enable Boomstick.
• Choose Sheathed, Melee, or Ranged.
• Mute sheath sounds. Muted on default for hunters, if I have to hear another shnng again 😫
• Auto sheath in resting areas, take a load off.
• Auto sheath when talking to NPCs (this prevents pulling your weapons out while in dialog)
• Enable diagnostic sheath-state logs.
• Set the initial adjustment delay, follow-up check delay, and periodic check interval.

New hunters start enabled with Ranged selected. New non-hunters start disabled with Sheathed selected.

Boomstick is lightweight and set-it-and-forget-it: native Settings only, no custom panel, no minimap button, no BS.
