PallyBuffs is a raid blessing-management and auto-buffer addon for WoW Forever.

It provides a complete Paladin blessing workflow with class-based assignments, individual player overrides, Paladin synchronization, live blessing tracking, secure auto-buffing, raid reports, profiles, and configurable raid permissions.

👤 Individual Player Overrides

Individual overrides allow specific raid members to receive a different blessing without changing the class-wide assignment.

For example:

Warriors → Greater Salvation

while one specific Warrior can receive:

Henk → Regular Might

Individual overrides support:

• Per-player blessing assignments
• Mouse-wheel assignment changes
• Shift + mouse-wheel override reset
• Visual override indicators

• Automatic override clearing when using Auto-Assign
• Automatic fallback to the class default when an override is removed

🔄 Paladin Assignment Synchronization

PallyBuffs allows multiple Paladins running the addon to coordinate assignments through addon communication.

Synchronization supports:

• Assignment changes between Paladins
• Assignment state synchronization
• Assignment revision tracking
• Sync requests
• Receiving remote assignment changes
• Preventing older assignment states from replacing newer states
• Automatic UI and buff-bar updates after synchronization

This allows Paladins in the same group to work from a shared blessing assignment setup.

⚡ Secure Auto-Buff

The dedicated Auto-Buff button helps apply the correct assigned blessing to raid members.

The Auto-Buff system:

• Uses the current blessing assignments.
• Determines which blessing a player requires.
• Detects missing blessings.
• Tracks blessing duration.
• Updates when raid members gain or lose blessings.
• Uses secure action buttons for spell casting.
• Supports normal and Greater Blessings.
• Updates automatically when assignments change.
• Updates automatically when the raid roster changes.

📊 Live Blessing Status

PallyBuffs provides a dedicated buff bar for monitoring raid blessing coverage.

The buff bar can:

• Display active raid classes.
• Show blessing status.
• Display missing blessings.
• Display remaining blessing duration.
• Update when auras are applied or removed.
• Update when raid members change.
• Automatically refresh after assignment changes.
• Use horizontal or vertical layouts.
• Be independently scaled.
• Be moved and locked in place.

⏱️ Aura & Duration Tracking

PallyBuffs monitors blessing aura state on raid members.

It tracks:

• Missing blessings
• Active blessings
• Blessing duration
• Aura applications
• Aura removals
• Raid roster changes
• Player connection changes

The buff bar automatically refreshes when blessing aura state changes.

🧪 Symbol of Kings Tracking

The Auto-Buff interface displays the current Symbol of Kings count.

• Shows the current reagent count.
• Updates automatically.
• Helps monitor Greater Blessing reagent availability.
• Displays the count directly alongside the Auto-Buff controls.

📋 Raid Assignment Reports

PallyBuffs can report the current blessing assignments directly to raid or party chat.

Reports include:

• Blessings grouped by blessing type
• Compact class abbreviations
• Only active assignment categories
• Individual player overrides
• Paladin responsibility information

💾 Blessing Profiles

Save and restore blessing assignment configurations.

Profiles support:

• Saving the current blessing assignments.
• Loading a previously saved profile.
• Reusing assignments for recurring raid groups.
• Restoring assignments to the assignment grid.
• Updating the buff bar after loading a profile.

🔐 Raid Permissions

PallyBuffs includes permission controls for blessing assignments.

Supported controls include:

• Free Assignment
• Allow raid assistants to edit assignments

Permission checks help prevent unauthorized players from changing another Paladin's assignments.

Assignment changes received from other players are also validated before being accepted.

The PallyBuffs buff bar can be positioned anywhere on the screen.

• Drag the buff bar to a custom position.
• Lock the buff bar in place.
• Save its position between sessions.
• Reset the frame position.
• Configure horizontal or vertical layout.

👥 Player Pop-Outs

Individual player assignment information can be accessed through the player interface.

🔄 Automatic Updates

PallyBuffs responds automatically to relevant raid and blessing changes.

The addon updates when:

• The player enters the world.
• The raid roster changes.
• Players join or leave the group.
• Players connect or disconnect.
• Blessing auras are applied.
• Blessing auras are removed.
• Assignments change.
• Assignment synchronization is received.
• Combat ends.
• An encounter ends.
• Configuration changes.

Rapid state changes are combined into efficient UI updates to reduce unnecessary processing.

🧠 Secure Spell Casting

PallyBuffs uses WoW's SecureActionButtonTemplate system for blessing casts.

The addon resolves spell information using the available WoW Forever spell APIs while retaining compatibility fallbacks for relevant legacy spell APIs.

This allows the Auto-Buff and blessing buttons to work within WoW's secure-action restrictions.

PallyBuffs stores its configuration, blessing assignments, individual player overrides, saved profiles, and synchronization state in the addon SavedVariables database.
