Description
OST-Player lets you listen to the World of Warcraft soundtrack you choose, wherever you are.
Open it from the minimap button or with /ostplayer. The window holds over 6,000 music tracks, from Classic to Midnight, grouped in a tree:
- by expansion, from Classic through Cataclysm, Pandaria, Draenor, Legion, Battle for Azeroth, Shadowlands, Dragonflight and The War Within to Midnight;
- plus Cities, Events, Musical moments, Login screen and Pet Battle.
Pick a track and press Play. While it plays, the zone music is muted, so the two do not overlap; stop the player and your music setting goes back to how it was.
- Search across all track names.
- Favorites: star the tracks you love and show only those.
- Prev / Next, Shuffle, Repeat all, Loop the current track.
- The play list is what you are looking at: an open category, a search result or your favorites.
The music is played from the game's own files with the game's own sound system: the addon contains no audio, only the list of track IDs and names.
