Nucleus

Modern, highly customizable party and raid frames for World of Warcraft.

Early version, feedback wanted. Not everything has been tested to 100% yet, so you may run into bugs or rough edges. I would be glad about everyone who tries Nucleus and tells me what they find, whether it is a bug, a missing option or just an impression. Every bit of feedback helps. A word from the author

Until today I maintained a fork of Cell. Alongside that I built my own addon, Nucleus, from scratch, without taking any of Cell's code. Everything in Nucleus is written from the ground up. Where it is inspired by other frame addons, it is by what they do, not by how they are coded.

Features

Frames

• Party and raid frames, plus frames for your pet, group pets and NPC companions
• A Spotlight group: pin the tanks, healers, a player by name, your target, focus or target's target
• Raid groups: choose which groups show, how many, and an optional "Group n" label
• Sorting by role, class or raid group, with your own order and pinned names
• Test mode and live previews for every setting

Indicators

• Name, health text, power bar, level, status, role, leader, ready check, raid marker, combat icon
• Absorb text and shield bar, health thresholds, aggro border, target counter, private auras
• Missing raid buffs, class and specialization icon
• Create your own indicators: icons, text, bars, borders, overlays and glows for the auras you pick

Auras

• Rows for buffs, debuffs, dispellable debuffs, defensive, external and offensive cooldowns, and crowd control
• Built on the game's own aura engine, so auras keep showing in combat on the current Retail client
• Colored time text with decimals, dispel type colors, highlights on the health bar

Click-casting and more

• Click-casting per class and per specialization
• Profiles with automatic switching by situation and by specialization or role
• Export and import profiles as text, with backups, and an importer for Cell profiles
• Targeted spell bars, actions (a short animation when a group member uses a potion or Healthstone), ready and pull timer, battle resurrection tracker, marker bar
• Ping mirror on your frames

Look and feel

• A clean options window with live previews.

Clients

• Retail (Midnight, 12.1): the main version
• WoW Forever (Classic): early support with Classic classes, spell ranks and data. Expect rough edges there
• Classic versions will be released later, once the current versions are up and running.
