What's new

MissionAccomplished 1.9.15

A maintenance release on top of 1.9.14 for WoW Classic Era 1.15.9, from a live session on the owner's own client. Two of these were diagnosed by asking the running client for its reasons rather than by reading the code and guessing, and one of them is why Dump junk had never destroyed anything. All eleven packages carry the new version number. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.

Bankert's Bags

  • Dump junk destroyed nothing at all. The supply quota's cursor recheck subtracted the picked up count and then demanded an empty source slot, but the client does not empty a slot when its stack goes to the cursor: the item stays where it was, flagged locked, until the pickup is spent. So every whole stack destroy refused one step before the delete, put the item back, and said only that it had kept everything. The recheck now accepts the client's own reading, the same stack still in its slot and locked, as well as a slot the client has emptied. A slot holding a different item, a different count, or an unlocked stack still refuses, and an unlocked stack is exactly the reading that proves nobody picked anything up.
  • The last two silent exits in the destroy chain name themselves like the rest: a caller that refuses before the first stack, and anything already held on the cursor. A run that stopped at either used to report "an unnamed check".
  • A dump that destroyed something and left junk behind now says how much is left. The client spends the player's click on the first delete and refuses the next one, so a click destroys one stack and no addon can honestly promise more. The message gives the count still to try and asks for another click.

Noctis Guides

  • The compass told the player to leave Darnassus through the eastern gate to reach a quest giver standing twenty yards away inside the city. Classic city maps are rectangles cut out of their parent zone, so a route can write a city NPC as a point in Teldrassil's coordinate space, which is the same world position under a different name. The travel classifier compared a map id and a fraction and nothing else, so it read that point as the canopy outside. It now asks the client where the point actually is: when the same world position exists on the map the player is standing on, and lands in the region they already occupy, there is no travel leg at all. Genuine legs are untouched, and the Rut'theran portal still resolves from inside the city.
  • The Greywhisker turn in in the 21-23 route names Darnassus and a coordinate inside the city, so the step's pin lands on the city map.
  • Flight timers for every route, carried over from the working tree: the taxi map's own hop endpoints give each route its real length, and seconds per map unit is learned per taxi map from your own completed flights. One measured flight gives every route on that map an estimate, and the readout says whether an answer is measured or projected.
  • Tooltips survive a bag sort, also carried over: a sort repaints the grid for several seconds and the restore timer was re-armed before it could ever fire.
