Nem: Pet Alerts

Never miss critical pet problems again. Big, readable on-screen alerts the moment your pet dies, vanishes, gets CC'd, drops low, sits on Passive, stops attacking — backed by voice packs so you also hear it without taking your eyes off your rotation.

Options Panel — Redesigned with Tabs

The options panel has been rebuilt with a tabbed layout, so related settings are grouped together instead of stacked in one long scroll:

  • General — enable the addon, set the alert font, size, and a new Font Outline style (None, Outline, or Thick Outline), and choose the display language.
  • Audio — pick the sound for each alert, now with a new Output Channel setting. You can play your alerts through Master, Music, Effects, Ambience, or Dialog, and the matching volume slider controls them. Previously every sound played on Master; if you keep your game muted but want alerts audible (or the reverse), you can now route them to whichever channel suits you.
  • Visual — every alert's on-screen text and color now lives in one place: a toggle, a color box, and a custom text field per alert in a single list. This tab also folds the screen-flash effect into a single Flash Style choice — Static (off), Subtle Fade (slow and soft), or Intense Pulse (fast and bright), replacing the old on/off checkbox — and adds a Heal Threshold slider that sets the health percentage at which the heal-pet warning appears.
  • Profiles — save your whole setup as a named profile and switch between them, with each character choosing its own. Create a new profile, copy settings from an existing one, delete profiles you no longer need, and import or export a profile as a copy-paste string to share a setup or move it between characters.

On a class or specialization Nem: Pet Alerts doesn't support, the panel shows a single, clearly worded message instead of a partly filled window, consistent with Nem: Healer Alerts.

Localization — Language Support Added

Nem: Pet Alerts can now be displayed in other languages. A new Language selector in the Display options lets you pick the addon's language or leave it on Auto (client default), which follows your WoW client language. Every on-screen alert, options-panel label, button, and chat message now routes through a translation layer.

This release ships the full English text and the translation framework; additional languages can now be added without further code changes. A Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) entry is registered as a starting point and currently falls back to English until translated. Anything not yet translated always falls back to readable English, so nothing ever shows up blank.

Mirrors the localization system already used by Nem: Healer Alerts, so both addons share the same approach.
