NavMarkerScale

NavMarkerScaleCurrently only available in English and German.
Make Blizzard’s navigation marker and distance text easier to see.

NavMarkerScale is a World of Warcraft Retail addon that lets you customize the size of Blizzard’s on-screen navigation marker and its distance display. It is designed for players who find the default marker or distance numbers too small or difficult to distinguish from the game world.

When you track a destination, such as a quest objective or a map waypoint, NavMarkerScale adjusts the existing Blizzard marker. You can enlarge the marker, resize the distance numbers separately, and add a black outline to improve contrast against bright or busy backgrounds.

Features

• Adjustable navigation marker size: Scale the marker from 0.5× to 12× its original size.
• Independent distance text size: Scale the distance numbers from 0.5× to 24×, without having to change the marker size.
• Black marker outline: A black outline follows the marker’s shape to help it stand out against the environment.
• Adjustable distance text outline: Choose a black outline width from 0 to 12 pixels, in 0.5-pixel steps. Set it to 0 to disable it.
• Live adjustments: Changes made with the settings sliders take effect immediately.
• Saved settings: Your chosen sizes and outline width are remembered between sessions.
• Individual reset buttons: Reset the marker size, distance text size, or text outline width separately.

For example, you can make the distance numbers larger while keeping the navigation marker relatively small. If the numbers blend into bright terrain, you can increase their black outline without enlarging the text further.
