Description
Mystic Codex is designed specifically for Mage gameplay.
Its research engine recognizes and interprets supported Mage Arcane, Fire, and Frost spell events. It is not intended as a general all-class combat tracker, and abilities from other classes are not supported as Mage research.
As your Mage encounters hostile creatures and casts recognized spells in battle, the Codex records discoveries, encounters, kills, spell results, resistances, immunities, and school-specific research.
Each creature develops an individual Arcane, Fire, and Frost research record. Progress can be reviewed in the illustrated Creature Journal, followed during combat with the movable Research Focus tracker, or explored by region in the Zone Field Guide.

COMPATIBILITY
Designed for Mages on the World of Warcraft Anniversary 2.5.6 client. No other addon is required. Other player classes are not supported for research progression.
PUBLIC RELEASE
The addon has been tested through normal Mage gameplay, journal navigation, zone research, settings changes, UI reloads, and saved-data updates. Mystic Codex will receive maintained updates over time, and player feedback about unusual Mage spell interactions, character states, interface configurations, and addon combinations is welcome.
