Mob Threat
A small addon I made so my family could see who’s about to pull aggro while we play WoW Forever together.
What it does
- Shows your threat percent next to the name on every enemy nameplate.
- Draws a threat bar behind the mob’s name that fills from green through yellow to red as you get closer to pulling it.
- Puts an animated glow box around your current target, with a spark that runs around the edge. The box is yellow for neutral mobs and red for hostile mobs or anything fighting you.
- Has a “Who has aggro” window that lists everyone in your group, pets included, with the mobs targeting each of them underneath.
- Lets you resize mob nameplates, and make your current target bigger than the rest.
How to use it
- Left-click the minimap button to open settings. That’s where you’ll find the text size slider and the tick box that turns the glow box on or off.
- Right-click the minimap button to open the aggro list.
- Drag the minimap button to move it around the edge of the minimap.
Chat commands
- /mobthreat opens settings
- /mobthreat list opens the aggro list
- /mobthreat glow turns the target glow on or off
- /mobthreat size 150 sets mob nameplates to 150%
- /mobthreat target 130 makes your target 130% bigger on top of that
- /mobthreat test and /mobthreat glowtest print status checks if something isn’t working
Notes
- Built for WoW Forever.
- Threat only shows once you’re in combat with a mob.
- If you used my older TargetGlow addon, delete it. It’s built into Mob Threat now, and running both gives you two boxes.
