Midnight Boost Blocker is a lightweight, standalone World of Warcraft: Midnight addon designed to automatically filter unwanted boosting service advertisements from Trade and General chat.
Tired of scrolling through endless messages advertising Mythic+ carries, raid boosts, dungeon runs, paid leveling, gold services, and guaranteed runs? Midnight Boost Blocker helps keep your public chat readable so you can focus on playing the game instead of constantly ignoring commercial spam.

- Minimap Button — Open the settings window with a left-click or toggle filtering with a right-click. Drag the button to reposition it.

🛡️ What Does It Filter?
Midnight Boost Blocker is designed to identify advertisements for:
- Mythic+ boosting and paid key runs
- Dungeon carries and power-leveling services
- Raid boosts and paid raid carries
- Paid leveling and character progression
- Gold-related boosting promotions
- Guaranteed runs and commercial carry services
- Common boosting abbreviations and alternative keyword spellings
The detection engine considers context and sales intent rather than blocking every message containing words such as dungeon, raid, gold, or leveling.
No keyword-based filter is perfect. Custom rules and exceptions allow you to tune the addon to suit your server and preferences.
⚙️ Easy Configuration
Open the settings window at any time using:

From the interface, you can enable or disable the addon, configure individual channels, manage custom phrases, test sample messages, view the blocked-message counter, and restore the default configuration.

🔒 Local Filtering, No Automatic Reporting
Midnight Boost Blocker filters matching messages locally from your displayed chat. It does not automatically report, ignore, or interact with the players who send them.
Guild, Party, Raid, Instance, and Whisper conversations are outside the addon's intended filtering scope.
📦 Installation
1. Download the latest release from CurseForge.
2. Extract the "MidnightBoostBlocker" folder into your World of Warcraft Retail installation's "Interface/AddOns" directory.
3. Launch the game and enable the addon from the AddOns menu.
4. Type "/mbb ui" to configure your preferences.
