Master Scale

Scale your in-game interface without touching the login screen, for Retail and WoW Forever.

Master Scale lets you set the size of your entire in-game interface from 0.50 to 1.50, just like Blizzard's UI Scale, but only while you're logged in. Blizzard's own setting also resizes the login and character select screens. Master Scale leaves that setting alone, so those screens keep Blizzard's normal look.

Features

• In-game only - Scales the interface once you're in the world. The login and character select screens are never affected.
• Wide range - Choose any scale from 0.50 to 1.50 in 0.01 steps.
• Applies when you're done - Dragging the slider doesn't resize anything. The new scale applies when you release it, or after a short pause when using the stepper buttons or arrow keys.
• Stays applied - If Blizzard resets the scale, for example after a resolution or UI Scale change, Master Scale puts yours back.
• Combat safe - Changes made in combat apply as soon as combat ends.
• Options stay on screen - The Options window recenters after each rescale, so it never ends up off screen.
• One-click reset - Go back to Blizzard's scale at any time.
• Account-wide - One setting for all your characters.
• Hands-off until you choose - Master Scale does nothing until you set a value.

Options

Open Esc > Options > AddOns > Master Scale.

• Reset to Blizzard scale

There's no slash command. Everything is in the Options panel.

Good to Know

• Nameplates aren't scaled, because they belong to the game world rather than the interface.

One codebase supports both game versions.

Designed for the default UI. Master Scale is built for Blizzard's default interface. Other UI addons or interface replacements may cause problems. If you run into an issue, please report it with the addons you use, and I'll see whether it can be corrected.
