ManaRise
Watch your mana rise. Cast the moment you're ready.
ManaRise shows you, directly on your action bars, which spells you can't afford yet and how close you are to casting them. An unaffordable spell darkens and fills with liquid in its resource color as your mana, rage, energy or focus regenerates. The moment the spell becomes castable, the fill clears and the button flashes.

Gameplay captured in-game.
Compatible with WoW: Forever 1.60.1 and Retail (12.x).
Features
- Liquid fill: a rolling wave surface, a second wave behind it, depth shading and rising bubbles. A flat style is available.
- Ready flash: a short flash in the resource color when the spell becomes affordable.
- Four resources: mana, rage, energy and focus, each with its own configurable color.
- Non-intrusive: works with the default bars, Bartender4, Dominos, ElvUI and EllesmereUI. Cooldowns, keybinds, charges and borders stay on top.
- Efficient and safe: updates only when your resource or bars change, never every frame, and creates nothing during combat.
- Configurable: color presets (including a colorblind-friendly one), per-class settings, an options panel and a minimap button with a right-click menu.
- 10 languages.
Chapter I: Watch your mana rise
Spend your mana and the spells you can't afford turn into small vials that fill up from the bottom as you regenerate.
- A rolling wave on the surface, with a dimmer wave drifting the other way behind it.
- Darker liquid at the bottom, brighter near the surface, small bubbles rising through it.
- A flash in the liquid's color the moment you can cast.
- Prefer it plain?
/mr style flatgives a flat fill with a bright edge line.
Chapter II: Every resource, its own color
Mage, Priest, Paladin, Shaman, Warlock and Hunter (mana), Warrior (rage), Rogue (energy) and Druid (mana, energy in cat form, rage in bear form).
- Mana blue, rage red, energy yellow, focus orange. Change any of them.
- A druid's buttons switch color as you change form.
- Rage draining out of combat lowers the fill smoothly instead of flickering.
- Prefer mana only?
/mr resource mana.
Chapter III: Works with your bars
- All default bars: Main, Bottom Left, Bottom Right, Right, Right 2 and Bars 5 to 7.
- Bartender4, Dominos, ElvUI and EllesmereUI. ElvUI's square icons get a square fill.
- Cooldown swipes, keybinds, charges and borders still draw on top. Clicking, tooltips and drag-and-drop work as before.
- It follows paging, stances, forms and Edit Mode.
- Light on performance: it only updates when your resource or your bars change, never every frame.
- Combat safe: it never touches secure button settings and creates nothing new during combat.
- Only spells that cost something fill. Items, non-spell macros and free spells are left alone.

Good to know
- Tracks mana, rage, energy and focus. Combo points and other secondary resources aren't tracked, and neither are spells that cost health.
- In some situations the game hides your exact resource value from addons. ManaRise then lets the game draw the fill and asks the game whether the spell is affordable. It never tries to work around this.
- Settings are saved for the whole account.
/mr profile classgives each class its own. - ManaRise has not been tested in-game yet, including with the bar addons. Reports from your own play are a big help.
Installation
Install with the CurseForge app, or put the ManaRise folder in your WoW Forever Interface\AddOns folder and restart the game. If you have an older ManaRise, delete the old folder first. Then type /mr test.
Found a bug or have an idea? Leave a comment with what you saw, your class and the output of /mr status.
