- Merge pull request #23 from sjdodge123/feat/profession-mats
feat: keep the materials this character's professions use - feat: keep the materials this character's professions use
Operator, 2026-10-22: Mailworthy should factor in the player's own
professions, with a checkbox to avoid sending the materials they need.
Valuation.PROFESSION_MATS maps each crafting profession (GetProfessionInfo's
skill line ID) to the trade-goods subclasses it uses: cloth for Tailoring and
First Aid, leather for Leatherworking, metal & stone for Blacksmithing and
Engineering (plus parts, explosives, devices), herbs for Alchemy, dust /
essences / shards for Enchanting, meat and fish for Cooking. Gathering
professions need nothing; elementals stay mailable. With the new setting
keepProfessionMats (on by default) such an item is kept before any pricing,
reason "your Tailoring needs it". Bags.Evaluate fills settings.professions
from Characters.Professions(); the settings window gets a toggle button that
names the character's crafting professions and their materials; the scan and
/mw report lines say "profession materials kept for Tailoring" or "mailed".
