Single-button assistant for using profession knowledge point items

LearnItAll (LIA) provides the capability to click a single button repeatedly in order to use every item in your inventory that give knowledge points (KP) for a profession.

Currently works for Midnight professions only

Highlights

• One button per known profession, shown only when a usable knowledge point item is in your bags
• Minimap/DataBroker tooltip shows professions learned on a character and how much KP is available in your inventory for each
• Draggable window that persists position across characters and between logins/reloads

Summary

LIA watches your bags for items that grant KP and exposes a single button for each profession that can be clicked repeatedly to use each of those items. Currently looks to use larger-KP and one-time use items (i.e. KP treasures, KP from vendors) before beginning to use weekly KP sources (patron crafting orders, weekly treasures, catch up KP, etc.).

Buttons only appear for professions you have a usable item(s) in your bags for. Once all KP items for a profession have been exhausted, its button disappears from the window until you obtain another one. The AddOn window will self-close once there are no KP items in your inventory for any learned profession.

There are no settings to configure, just load the AddOn and open the window when you have a lot of KP to obtain.

Motivation

I invest pretty heavily into professions, regularly fulfilling crafting orders on multiple characters. I wanted a feature to quickly use all available KP items without having to navigate through my bags and click each item individually, so I created LIA.

Usage

Open the AddOn window with the slash command /lia or /learnitall, from the minimap button (shown by default), or by left-clicking the DataBroker icon. Doing the same again will close it.

Each visible button represents a known profession with a knowledge point item available in your bags. Click a button to use that item immediately. Hover over a button to see the full item tooltip.

Minimap/DataBroker Tooltip

Hovering the minimap button or DataBroker display shows every known profession along with its total available knowledge points, so you can check your progress without opening the window.

Slash Commands

• /lia - Toggle the AddOn window
• /lia help - List all available slash commands
• /lia minimap - Toggle the minimap button
• /lia reset - Reset the window position to the center of the screen
