Bored of hunting which addon is causing lag spikes every time something got updated?
You reload, the game hitchs, and then you start disabling addons one by one. Laggy Addon Detector skips that whole ritual. It watches CPU and memory in real time, points at the addons that are actually draining resources, and shows you the result as soon as you log in or /reload.
Addon names are colored by load:
- Red — heavy, likely causing stutter
- Yellow — average
- Green — lightweight and fine
How to use Hover the clock icon on the minimap to see only the red, resource-draining addons. Click it to open a live table of every loaded addon, with CPU, peak, memory, and load. Click a column header to sort. Drag the minimap button if you want it somewhere else.
You can also type /lad or /laggy to open the table, or /lad report to print a chat summary. There is a Chat report button in the window as well.
The list updates about once a second, so you can keep the table open during combat or world content and watch which addon spikes. After login or reload it also posts a short chat report so you do not even have to open the UI.
