Auto Open (Retired See Description)

NEW ADDON!!!  fr0z3nUI Auto Open

This addon will/has been retired, it got us through Dragonflight and The War Within, and may have even lasted through Midnight and beyond, but hey, the code was getting old, there was no major improvemens over the original kAutoOpen and hey I just got it working again.

Now I have gone implemented a new Auto Open, that I think runs better (as well as an auto opener can) and yea, added some bells and whistles, so why not check it out.  If you don't like the way the new one works, there are plenty of other options out there for this kind of thing... the one that runs the closest to this would be Open Sesame! and there's plenty of others.

I'll also be putting out some other addons in the near future... if you find my github, you'll get an early peek, I look forward to helping you continue your travels through Azeroth, good luck and safe travels.

This addon attempts to open a cache item you've looted, like the Winter Veil Gifts, rather than you having to search through your bags to do so. 

Something missing?  Message me on Discord (fr0z3night) the Item ID and Name, and I'll look into it.

If you don't want an item opened for some reason, change its value to false in the addon's LUA file (separated by expansion).

If it doesn't auto-open the cache, which happens sometimes, either reload or use New Openables, alongside this addon, it's great for items that this misses, won't open, or that just aren't caches (pets, toys, etc). It displays a clickable button when you have a usable item in your bags. (Thanks to the new owner for bringing it back from the dead.) 

I'll probably update this here at least once per patch.  The most up-to-date version is in my OneDrive, linked in the comments and the changelog, that's updated pretty much whenever I play (via a batch file)

If this is not updated enough or you want to try an alternative, there are others like Open Sesame! and Openable be gone, which do the same or similar job, and I'm sure there are some others as well.

Notes:
  + Put files in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\kAutoOpen\'.
  + My edit shows up as '!AutoOpen 11.X.X' in the Addon List.
       - 'AutoOpen XP [BoxName] ' is displayed when opening. (XP = Expansion, eg 07 for Legion)

I use Vendor now, but AutoVendor was another great addon. The fixes Gerrit_Alex made 3 years ago showed me how to fix kAutoOpen back in Dragonflight.  Also, a big thanks to the WoW community as a whole, there are some great Addons & WeakAuras out there that take a lot of time and patience to create and keep up to date.
