Just do it

Open WoW with a direction for your next adventure. Just do it offers a subtle, transparent compass and one main quest suggestion based on your character’s live game state.

What it does

• Prioritizes available campaign quests and nearby objectives.
• Shows a main and secondary destination in muted colors.
• Keeps instance-tagged campaign steps visible as a quiet text hint beside your compass.
• Opens its panel from a native compass icon on the minimap.
• Lets you skip a suggestion for 45 minutes.
• Shows Blizzard’s route instructions for portals and transport when available.
• Opens the relevant quest group search or Group Finder from a clickable instance suggestion.

Choose your mode

Semi-auto: receive compass guidance while keeping control of your native quest tracker and navigation.

Auto: with your consent, track suggested quests and use Blizzard’s navigation. Available quests use a map pin; accepted outdoor quests use their own native quest marker. Your manual pins take priority. When you speak to an NPC, Auto can accept available quests and turn in completed ones.

Automatic reward selection has its own permission and is off by default. The addon never enters a queue automatically.

Getting started

Click the minimap compass or type /jdi. Select your preferred mode in the panel or settings. Hold Shift and drag to move the compass.

First Release — 0.2.4

This release focuses on quest guidance. It also includes manual campaign/map diagnostics and Encounter Journal dungeon loot inspection. Complete endgame recommendations based on equipment, crests, lockouts and Great Vault are still being developed. Some quest types and client restrictions require further in-game validation.
