GearMemory
Equipment choices based on your class, specialization and stat priorities.
GearMemory is an independent World of Warcraft Retail addon. Open /gm, /gearmemory, or its minimap button to compare your equipped gear and available items. The interface is in Brazilian Portuguese.
Choose your priorities
The correct main attribute for your specialization (Strength, Agility or Intellect) always takes priority. Choose two secondary priorities from Mastery, Haste, Critical Strike and Versatility, saved separately for each character and specialization.
Comparison order:
- Appropriate main attribute amount.
- Weighted secondary score: first priority x3, second x2, other secondary stats x1.
- Item level as a tie breaker.
Class-inappropriate armor, weapons and primary attributes are excluded. Rings, trinkets and weapon arrangements are considered together with unique-equipment constraints.
Equipment and automation
Review suggestions and click Equipar melhorias to equip safe, identified upgrades from your bags. Optional automatic equipment starts disabled and requires its own explicit consent. It pauses during combat, occupied cursors, vendor/bank/auction/trade/quest services and incompatible inventory work.
Bank visits save dated, review-only snapshots. Bank items must be withdrawn by the player before equipping. GearMemory does not sell, destroy or automatically transfer items.
Special effects, set bonuses, trinkets, unclear binding/refund information and unverified PvP-scaled attributes are marked for review. This is a deterministic attribute comparison, not a DPS simulator or a guarantee of optimal gear.
Installation and beta status
Install the GearMemory folder in _retail_/Interface/AddOns/ and fully restart WoW. Retail interface 120100. BagMemory and MuscleMemory are optional companions, not dependencies.
Initial beta: Lua syntax was checked, but no behavioral tests were run. Live WoW validation of frames, stats, bank APIs, native equipment actions and combat restrictions remains pending.
Both BagMemory and GearMemory now follow the client language: Portuguese for ptBR and English for every non-Portuguese client.
