BagMemory
Clean bags. Useful equipment preserved.
BagMemory is a standalone World of Warcraft Retail addon for character-aware inventory cleanup. Open /bm or /bagmemory to review each item's destination and the reason behind it. The current interface is in Brazilian Portuguese.
Features
- Desaturates items classified for sale in Blizzard's bags and personal bank interface.
- Automatically sells eligible items to NPC vendors in batches and repairs your equipment.
- Uses your character's equipped item level and a configurable margin, while preserving the best known appropriate equipment in each category. Your best pair of pants stays protected even if it falls below your average item level.
- Accounts for class compatibility and separately preserves identified PvE/PvP alternatives.
- Protects quest items, quest starters, heirlooms, manual keep rules and uncertain item data.
- Organizes the accessible personal bank: deposit suitable storage items and withdraw eligible sale items.
- Keeps Warband/account equipment protected by default. An optional character setting permits eligible vendor sales by bypassing only the account-binding protection.
- Uses recent auction observations to evaluate eligible low-profit items and offers preparation in the native auction interface. Posting auctions remains a player action.
Automation
Semi Auto is the default and sells up to 12 stacks per batch. Full Auto requires explicit character-specific consent and can continue beyond the buyback capacity. It can also use identified quest-starting items and accept their exact offered quest. Pause or revoke automation from the menu.
BagMemory reads equipped items for comparison but never equips or moves worn gear. Equipment suggestions belong to the independent GearMemory addon. Warband and guild bank storage is not automatically moved; personal bank operations require the bank to be open.
Installation and beta status
Install the BagMemory folder in _retail_/Interface/AddOns/ and fully restart WoW. Retail interface 120100; no mandatory addon dependencies.
This beta has received local Lua syntax checks. Real-client validation of UI, sales/buyback, bank operations, quests, repair and interactions with other addons remains pending. Selling beyond the game's buyback capacity can make items unrecoverable.
Both BagMemory and GearMemory now follow the client language: Portuguese for ptBR and English for every non-Portuguese client.
