Description

Ignite Club

A fire mage's Ignite/Scorch/threat tracker — forked from the long-abandoned IgniteTracker and rebuilt from the ground up.

Commands

/igniteclub options — opens the settings window
/igniteclub unlock — preview and reposition both bars (60s window)
/igniteclub move — same as unlock
/igniteclub lock — save position and exit preview mode

That's it for day-to-day use. Everything else — alert sound, threat threshold, solo visibility, Combustion tracking, minimap icon — lives in the options window (/igniteclub options), so you're not stuck memorizing a wall of slash commands.

The minimap icon (enable it in options) gives one-click access too: left-click opens options, Ctrl+left-click locks/unlocks the bars directly, Shift+right-click hides the icon.

What it tracks

  • Ignite — who currently owns it, stack count, tick damage, time remaining. Stays accurate through long fights even as different mages trade off refreshing it, and correctly follows you when you tab between targets.
  • Fire Vulnerability (Scorch) — stack count and time remaining, same reliability standard.
  • Threat — a live, continuously updating percentage relative to whoever's holding the most, with a configurable danger threshold, color escalation, and an alert sound that's scoped to your own threat specifically — never fires because someone else on the raid happens to be pulling.

Why this isn't just IgniteTracker with a new name

IgniteTracker hadn't been meaningfully updated in years, and it showed. This is a genuine rebuild, not a reskin:

Real bugs fixed, not just papered over:

  • Combustion tracking used to scramble names and timers between different mages every time the raid roster changed mid-fight — a real, disorienting bug that made the tracker unreliable exactly when you needed it most. Fixed at the root: identity is now tracked by name, not by a mutable roster slot.
  • A chat-message bug that silently ate part of the addon's own usage text.
  • A frame-anchoring bug where dragging one UI element would secretly drag a different one along with it.
  • Both bars used to hide based on an internal simulated countdown that could quietly drift out of sync with reality on long, multi-mage fights — sometimes disappearing while the debuff was still very much active. Now verified directly against the game's real debuff data, not a guess.

Capability that never existed in the original at all:

  • The entire threat system — IgniteTracker had no threat tracking whatsoever. This includes the live percentage, the configurable alert, the color/sound escalation, and a movable threshold marker that actually reflects your real settings.
  • Talent-aware visibility — the bars know whether you're actually specced for what they're tracking, and stay out of the way if you're not.
  • A real, in-game options window instead of a memorized list of slash commands.

Visual rebuild:

  • Custom forged-metal card art replacing the generic default Blizzard status bars, designed to actually look like it belongs in the game rather than bolted on.
  • Ctrl+drag positioning anywhere on screen, any time the bars happen to be visible — no more lock/unlock cycling just to nudge something an inch.
