Description
Hunter's Mark Reminder
Hunter's Mark Reminder puts a Hunter's Mark icon on the nameplate of the one enemy worth marking: a boss, an elite, a rare elite, a world boss or an enemy player. Ordinary mobs never get it, no matter how long the fight runs.
What it does:
One icon, on the right target. The icon sits just above the health bar of the enemy to mark, before the pull as well as during the fight. In a pack, it prioritizes the best target to mark: an encounter boss first, then a world boss, a rare elite, then an elite. Outside instances the enemy with more health comes first, and a higher level breaks a tie.
Gone once you've marked something. Mark any qualifying enemy and the icon hides until that enemy dies. Marks cast through a mouseover or focus macro count too, and a boss you marked stays marked through intermissions and phases where it disappears.
Commands
- /hmr (or /huntersmark) - list all slash commands.
Notes
- Hunters only: on any other class it does nothing at all.
- The icon is drawn over the nameplate; Blizzard's nameplates are never changed.
- Works with Blizzard's nameplates and EllesmereUI's.
Known limitations
- Only enemies with a nameplate on screen get the icon, so nameplates need to be enabled.
- If your mark is removed early by something other than the enemy dying, such as a dispel, the icon stays hidden until the mark would have run out.
Compatibility
- Retail (12.1.5).
- No dependencies and no embedded libraries.
