Each beast shows its level, attack speed, what it teaches, where it is found and its diet, with a map of where it spawns.
Each ability shows its cost, what it does at every rank, which families can learn it, and every beast that teaches the selected rank.
Targeting a beast for the first time adds it to your journal. Cast Beast Lore on it to reveal its abilities.
By default, beasts and abilities stay hidden until you find them yourself. Rare beasts are marked in blue, even before you find them.
Abilities stay hidden until your pet knows them or you study a beast that teaches them. Known abilities show your current rank.
Prefer the original spellbook? Switch to the classic look in the settings. Everything works the same, just styled like the old 1.x spellbook.
Description
Hunter's Field Guide is a beast journal for hunters in WoW Forever.
How it works
Target a tameable beast and it is added to your journal with its name, level, family and location. Cast Beast Lore on it to reveal the abilities and ranks it teaches.

By default, beasts and abilities stay hidden until you find them. If you prefer, you can reveal everything in the settings.
Commands
/fgopens the journal/fg configopens the settings/fg exportexports beasts and locations the addon did not know about
Feedback
The addon was made during the Forever beta, so Beast Lore has not been fully tested yet. Please report any issues in the comments. If the addon logs a new beast, zone or ability, you can share it with /fg export so it can be added in an update.
