HelloDruid
A lean, opinionated ability manager for WoW Classic Era Druids. It follows your form, lays out Cat, Bear, and Caster abilities, recommends the next press, supports Feral powershifting, and surfaces the combat info a Druid actually watches — energy, rage, mana, combo points, swing timing, and range — without ever casting for you.
Heads up — this is a personal work in progress. I build and evolve it as I play using it, so features land when I need them, design choices reflect my play style, and things may change between releases. Feel free to give it a whirl and leave me some feedback, but don't expect changes that fit your play style if they don't fit mine.
What it does
- Form-adaptive bars. Cat Form loads the Cat layout, Bear and Dire Bear Form load Bear, and everything else uses Caster. Talent abilities collapse within their own row, so utility never jumps between rows when you respec.
- Tells you what to press. Blizzard-style spell alerts mark the highest-value action and important maintenance abilities — Faerie Fire first, Cat builders and finishers, Bear threat actions, missing Moonfire or Insect Swarm, and contextual Wrath or Starfire recommendations.
- Supports powershifting. Cat gets a secure one-press powershift button and a recommendation when energy is low, enough mana remains, Furor is rank 5, and Clearcasting is not active. Wolfshead Helm is detected and included in the expected energy return.
- Tracks Cat finishers. Combo points appear on Rip and Ferocious Bite, while Rake and Rip use their cooldown sweeps to show how long their target debuffs have left.
- Bear combat alerts. Growl lights when your target is attacking someone else; Bash and Feral Charge light during interruptible casts; Frenzied Regeneration appears at low health; and Maul shows a queued-on-next-swing shine.
- Personal buffs and utility. Omen of Clarity reminds you when it is missing and always casts on yourself. Mark of the Wild, Thorns, and Innervate target a selected living friendly unit or default to you. Barkskin is explicitly self-cast.
- Caster actions. Moonfire, Insect Swarm, Faerie Fire, Wrath, Starfire, crowd control, and Hurricane share the Caster layout. Tranquility is included as the healing exception and automatically leaves shapeshift form before channeling.
- Combat readouts. Form-aware energy, rage, and mana bars; a Cat/Bear swing timer; a rage-cap warning; combo points; Clearcasting and Nature's Grace indicators; GCD and cooldown sweeps; target-debuff timers; out-of-range and insufficient-resource icon tints; and
MELEE/FAERIE/CHARGE/CAST/OUTrange states. - Cast bar. A compact player cast bar sits above the cluster for Wrath, Starfire, Tranquility, utility casts, mounts, and other channels. Turning it off restores Blizzard's cast bar.
- Racial button. Your race's active racial joins the shared utility row.
- Your keybinds. Bind keys to on-screen slots with a hover-and-press editor. Bindings follow fixed row positions, so Cat row two still starts with Powershift and Bear row two with Enrage after talent changes.

Caveats
- Only works on Classic Era; other game versions are not supported.
- Loads as a no-op for non-Druid characters.
- No auto-cast or rotation bot — it recommends and lays out; you press.
- Normal targeted healing is deliberately left to HelloHealer. HelloDruid keeps Rebirth, Innervate, Barkskin, and Tranquility available as combat utility.
- Purely additive to action bars: it never hides or restyles Blizzard's or DragonflightUI's action bars. Its optional cast bar does replace Blizzard's player cast bar while enabled.
- Travel, Aquatic, Moonkin, and humanoid forms all display the Caster layout by design.
- English spell and aura names are required in the current release.
- Opinionated defaults. One settings panel, not a twelve-tab profile editor — most things are not user-tunable on purpose.
- It cannot show an exact distance to a hostile target because the Classic API does not expose enemy yardage.
- The API cannot reliably determine whether you are behind a target, so Shred may be recommended when Claw is required as the positional fallback.
