BETA FEEDBACK AND SUPPORT
Hearthcade and all included games are currently in beta. If you find any issues or have any questions or concerns, please contact me on my Discord server: https://discord.gg/AyYwQnsrWU
Turn a quiet evening in Azeroth into game night. Hearthcade is a standalone
arcade addon for WoW Forever, bringing 22 games together inside a Warcraft-
themed handheld console. Play a quick puzzle while traveling, challenge a
computer opponent, or invite friends to a shared card, dice, or board game.
Tavern scenes, illustrated game covers, faction-inspired hardware, custom
cards, animated dice, and themed boards give the collection a place in Azeroth.
The modern library makes it easy to find a game, revisit a favorite, and resume
supported saved progress without leaving World of Warcraft.
THE CONSOLE
- Browse all 22 games through an illustrated, paginated library, with search,
Favorites and Multiplayer filters, a selected-game detail area, and Play
and Resume controls.
- Continue a recent game from the library's resume panel. Browse other games
without clearing their saved progress.
- Choose Alliance or Horde console hardware, or let the addon follow your
character's faction automatically.
- Play within the handheld bezel or switch to a larger fullscreen view.
- Use mouse, keyboard, or gamepad navigation. Supported games include direct
card and tile dragging, clickable draw piles, and dedicated set-building
panels instead of requiring a separate button for every move.
- Open the console with /hc or /hearthcade. Use /hc config for settings.
- Left-click the minimap button to toggle the console, right-click it for
settings, and drag it around the minimap to choose its position.
- Optionally open the console when a flight path begins. Closing it manually
during that flight will not keep reopening it.
PLAY WITH FRIENDS
Thirteen games support friend multiplayer: Tic-Tac-Toe, Uno, Azeroth War,
Azeroth Cribbage, Yahtzee, Scrabble, Phase 10, Spades, Dominoes, Rummikub,
Scattergories, Cards Against Azeroth, and Azeroth Catan.
Invite friends through the supported WoW and Battle.net invitation paths.
Player limits depend on the game, from two-player matches to ten-player Cards
Against Azeroth tables. Spades uses four-seat partnerships. Many games also
offer computer opponents so you can play without organizing a group.
Live tables can continue while the console is minimized. An optional minimap
glow and turn sound let you know when your action is needed. Players should
all install Hearthcade 0.1 Beta for matching rules, card decks, and protocols.
Live friend sessions are not restored after reload, logout, or disconnection;
leaving a table may end it for the other players.
THE COMPLETE GAME LIBRARY

chosen dice in their holders, and record categories on a graphical
scorecard. Includes score previews and multiplayer turn tracking.
15. Scrabble
Build words on a 15x15 board using draggable rack tiles, blank tiles,
premium squares, and the seven-tile bonus. Submit, recall, exchange, or

Includes a drag-and-drop phase-building panel, hitting existing phases,
drawing/discarding, and round penalty scoring. Supports computer play
or 2-4 friends.
17. Spades
Four-seat partnership play with bids, nil bids, trump, bags, and team
scoring toward 500 points. Your partner and team results are identified.
Play with three computer players or a full table of four friends.

draft area with commit/cancel controls. Supports computer play or 2-4 friends.
20. Scattergories
Play three timed rounds of twelve categories using Everyday, Warcraft,
or Mixed lists. Includes a letter die, answer entry, submission, review,
and scoring for unique accepted answers. Supports solo practice with
casual computer players or 2-4 friends. Players review whether answers
fit the categories; there is no automatic semantic judge.
21. Cards Against Azeroth
A mature Warcraft-culture party game for 4-10 friends, with 620 original
cards: 120 prompts and 500 answers. Includes private ten-card hands,
ordered Pick 1/Pick 2 submissions, anonymous judging, rotating judges,
a lobby and scoreboard, and first-to-5, 7, or 10 point targets.
Practice with 3-9 tavern bots; bots submit and judge randomly.
Contains profanity and adult innuendo.
22. Azeroth Catan
Build, trade, and settle with 3-4 players using computer opponents or
friend tables. Warcraft-inspired lumber, clay, wool, grain, and ore
support roads, settlements, cities, development cards, and harbor trades.
Includes player trading, a Defias robber, a Bloodsail pirate, longest
route/largest army, private hands, legal-placement highlights, and a guide.
Alliance, Horde, Night Elf, and Forsaken pieces give each seat its own look.
Choose the standard game or any of the nine Seafarers scenarios:
Heading for New Shores; Four Islands; Fog Islands; Through the Desert;
Forgotten Tribe; Cloth for Catan; Pirate Islands; Wonders of Catan;
and New World.
Scenario systems include ships and relocation, gold choices, fog
exploration, foreign-island points, coastal gifts, cloth villages,
moving pirate fleets, warships, fortresses, and wonders. All chapters
are available immediately, with personal wins marking completion.
The maps are original Warcraft layouts with scenario-specific objectives,
rather than reproductions of the printed expansion boards.
COMFORT AND CUSTOMIZATION
Settings include faction appearance, console bezel, automatic flight-path
opening, larger modern-interface text, reduced motion, higher-contrast panels,
minimap turn glow, and turn sounds. Restore the settings defaults without
erasing game progress. Game-specific help, status messages, highlighted choices,
and visual scoring support learning and following the action.
SAVED PROGRESS
Hearthcade saves preferences and supported solo/practice game snapshots,
along with available high scores, collections, and unlocks. Closing the console
does not intentionally reset a game. WoW writes SavedVariables during a clean
logout or UI reload; force-quitting can lose changes since the last write.
Live multiplayer tables are session-based and do not survive a reload/logout.
INSTALLATION AND RELEASE INFORMATION
Hearthcade 0.1 Beta is a complete installation, including all 22 games and
their current artwork. No older Hearthcade package is required. Extract the
Hearthcade folder into Interface/AddOns, enable it at character selection,
and enter /hc. When upgrading, replace the old addon folder while retaining
your SavedVariables. IM Forever is optional; Hearthcade works independently.
Target client: WoW Forever 1.60.1.70124, interface 16001. This is a beta release.
Lua 5.1 and mocked behavior checks cover startup, gameplay, saves, controls,
and simulated multiplayer. Actual rendering and live multiplayer have not
been tested in the WoW Forever client for this release.
