# Guild Self Forever

Guild Self Forever (GSF) brings Guild Self Found gameplay to **WoW Forever**, combining adventure rules with tools for recruitment, shared supplies, crafting requests, and officer oversight.

Whether you are starting a fresh guild challenge or managing an established community, GSF helps members support each other and gives officers a clear view of the adventure.

## Adventure rules

GSF restrictions apply only to characters enrolled in the adventure. You can keep the addon installed on other characters without activating those restrictions.

For enrolled characters, GSF:

- Blocks access to the Auction House.
- Allows unrestricted trading within the configured guild.
- Limits external trades to approved exceptions, including supported conjured items and lockpicking services.
- Restricts external mail and Auction House mail.
- Supports trading and mail with mutually approved GSF allied guilds. Allied mail requires a valid member roster.

Authorized officers can enroll or unenroll members without making them leave the guild. Leaving the guild alone does not end an active adventure enrollment.

## Guild tools

### Recruitment

Applicants whisper **`gsf`** to a guild member to start the addon recruitment process. Strict recruitment checks require level 1, zero XP, zero copper, and an approved starting inventory. Officers can disable those starting requirements while keeping the GSF recruitment handshake.

### Shared bank information

Browse synchronized snapshots of approved bank characters and guild bank tabs. Search by item name, item link, or item ID, with quantities and snapshot dates shown in the results. Shift-click an inventory item into the search field to find it quickly.

### Requests and professions

Coordinate starter supplies, specific items, enchantments, and crafted equipment. Members can browse profession information, while authorized officers can claim and validate requests. Filters help you find pending requests, your assignments, and completed requests. The integrated crafting catalog is tailored to WoW Forever.

### Officer dashboard and audits

See pending audits, unassigned requests, outdated addon versions, and bank snapshots that need refreshing in one place.

GSF compares saved character snapshots to highlight changes in gold, inventory, equipment, and bank contents when available. Missing or unusable reference data produces a separate integrity alert. Officers can review reports and synchronize cleanup decisions.

When no officer is online, compatible members can temporarily carry audit reports and forward them later. Relayed reports are marked as unverified; a direct report from the player replaces the relayed copy when received.

## Optional site and Discord integration

With a separately configured GSF bridge, guilds can collect roster snapshots, Discord linking requests, and blocked-action records for their external tools.

- **Private Discord linking:** `/gsf link <code>` sends your linking code through invisible addon messages.
- **Bridge ban lists:** supported officer clients can reject banned recruitment applicants and highlight banned members still in the guild, with a reason and expiry when provided.
- **Trusted collectors:** site-authorized members can act as collectors and preferred relays without receiving officer management permissions.

These integrations require the external bridge setup. Member removal remains a manual action in the game's guild interface.

## Easy access

Open the separate GSF panel using the side button in the guild window (**J**), or type **`/gsf`** to open the options.

- `/gsf diagnostic` — Inspect client and module diagnostics.
- `/gsf bankstatus` — Check bank data and persistence.
- `/gsf auditstatus` — Check audit queues and relay activity.
- `/gsf link <code>` — Submit a Discord linking code.

## Compatibility and languages

Designed for **WoW Forever**, targeting interface **16001**. The interface and messages support **English and French**, according to your game client's language. Guild data is stored separately by realm and guild.

Guild members should use compatible, up-to-date GSF versions to benefit from synchronization and relay features. Bank search results reflect the latest recorded snapshots, and audits highlight changes for review rather than proving how those changes occurred.
