Flight Time Learning
FlightTimer includes a preloaded database of known Classic flight times.
When a known route is selected, the addon immediately displays an estimated duration.
FlightTimer also records your actual flight duration and uses your own measurements to improve future estimates.
If a route is not present in the database, FlightTimer automatically switches to learning mode and records the route.
Early Landing
For flights containing intermediate flight masters, FlightTimer displays the next location where an early landing is possible.
Example:
Orgrimmar > Marshal's Refuge
FlightTimer may display:
If cancelled: stop at Crossroads
As the flight progresses, FlightTimer automatically updates this information so that only reachable upcoming stops are displayed.
Clicking Cancel Flight requests an early landing using World of Warcraft's built-in taxi functionality.
The progress bar, destination, remaining duration, and estimated arrival time are then recalculated for the new destination.
Sound Notifications
FlightTimer can play an alert when approximately 10 seconds remain before landing.
The sound button in the upper-right corner of the window allows you to:
- Left-click to enable or disable sounds
- Right-click to select a notification sound
- Preview sounds immediately
Sound is enabled by default.
