🛡️ Safety & Permissions

Guild Paragon is designed around modern Retail WoW restrictions:

• Officer-only tabs are hidden from non-officers
• Sensitive officer data is not shown or synced to non-officers
• Guild-master-only import and maintenance actions are gated
• Destructive actions require confirmation
• Macro execution uses visible player-triggered macros
• Roster scans avoid protected or unavailable Blizzard data where possible
• UI and scan behaviour are designed to stay quiet during restricted content

Non-officers can manage their own nickname and birthday, plus the same safe fields for linked characters. Officer-only notes, Ban List data, Macro Tool data, and protected workflows remain restricted.

📋 Roster Management

The Roster screen brings the main day-to-day guild tools into one view:

• View rank, level, note, nickname, and alt/main status
• Edit Guild Paragon custom notes
• Edit birthdays
• Manage nicknames
• Mark characters as mains
• Link alts to mains
• Review recent member history
• Resolve join-date audit conflicts
• Jump between linked characters from the alt list

Guild Paragon stores player-linked data by character identity and is designed for modern guilds where members can be on different realms or factions.

🧾 Event Log

Guild Paragon keeps a persistent guild activity log.

Tracked and displayed events include:

• Joins and leaves
• Promotions and demotions
• Public note changes
• Officer note changes, where permitted
• Guild Paragon custom note changes
• Nickname changes
• Alt/main changes
• Birthday changes
• Imported GRM log entries
• Ban List warnings and changes for officers

The Event Log includes search, display filters, category colours, numbered lines, single-entry removal, visible-row export, and confirmed cleanup actions.

🔄 Guild Sync

Guild Paragon can sync shared guild-management data between guild members running the addon.

Synced data includes:

• Alt/main links
• Nicknames
• General custom notes
• Officer-only custom notes between permitted officers
• Event Log catch-up
• One-time full Event Log bootstrap
• Macro Tool saved rules between officers
• Macro Rule ignores between officers
• Ban List records between officers

The Guild Sync screen shows peer activity, progress, and category counters so officers can see what the addon is doing.

⚙️ Macro Tool

The Macro Tool helps officers safely preview and build guild action macros.

Supported actions:

• Kick
• Promote
• Demote
• Special alt-rank alignment rules

Options include:

• Saved rules
• Target rank selection per rule
• Rank, level, online, offline, and rank-age filters
• Main-only, alt-only, or all-character targeting
• Linked-alt activity protection
• Safe text matching
• Per-character Macro Rule ignores
• Multi-select queueing
• Oversized macro batching
• Multi-rank promote/demote step handling
• Visible macro preview before execution
• Hotkey-based execution using a visible WoW macro

Guild Paragon does not directly perform guild actions from its own UI. It builds a visible macro and leaves the final action to the officer.

🚫 Ban List

Guild Paragon includes an officer-only Ban List.

• Add, edit, search, and remove ban records
• Record ban date and reason
• Import available GRM ban data
• Sync Ban List records between officers
• Warn officers if a banned or linked character rejoins
• Prompt after a local kick to optionally ban the removed character and linked characters

Ban List warnings are treated as officer-sensitive data.

💾 Backup & Restore

Guild Paragon includes manual current-guild backup and restore tools.

• Create restore points
• Preview stored backups
• Restore with typed confirmation
• Delete backups with typed confirmation
• Retain a limited number of backups to avoid unbounded SavedVariables growth

📤 Export & Stats

Guild Paragon can export roster and log data as copyable TSV text.

Exports include:

• Active roster
• Former members
• Combined active/former roster
• Event Log

Roster export includes useful metadata such as rank, level, class, realm, last-online data, join date, promoted date, birthday, guild reputation, Mythic+ score, nickname, main/alt fields, notes, custom notes, and GUID where available.

📥 GRM Import

Guild Paragon includes an importer for existing GRM data. A guild master can run a dry-run first, then confirm the import when ready.

The importer can bring across available roster, former-member, alt/main, nickname, custom-note, birthday, ban-list, and log data from GRM SavedVariables.

📦 Install

CurseForge

• Install via the CurseForge app or download the latest release.

Manual

1. Download the latest release .zip.
2. Extract into: World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/
3. Ensure the folder name is GuildParagon (not nested).
4. Relaunch the game.
