Grymr's Wowhead Link

Grymr's Wowhead Link is a compact mouseover-to-Wowhead helper built specifically for World of Warcraft: Forever.

Mouse over a supported target and press CTRL-C. The addon opens a small edit box containing the matching Wowhead Forever URL, already selected and ready to copy.

Setup

On first login, the addon assigns CTRL-C only if CTRL-C is currently unused. You can change the binding at any time under:

Options → Key Bindings → AddOns → Grymr's Wowhead Link

Lightweight by design

This Forever edition intentionally keeps only the useful core. It has:

• no OnUpdate loop
• no timer or ticker
• no periodic polling
• no background scanning
• no bundled framework or library

Detection runs when you use the binding. Two secure tooltip hooks only remember relevant data when Blizzard updates those tooltips anyway.

About this fork

This project is a modified GPLv3 derivative of Wowhead Quick Link by Niels Heltner and contributors. The original project is currently maintained on CurseForge by Blurish, with vaindil also listed as an author.

Compared with the upstream multi-client addon, this edition targets WoW Forever only. It removes Retail/Classic/TBC/MoP routing, Armory and Raider.IO links, the prefix/suffix configuration UI, and Retail-specific systems and edge-case strategies that do not apply to Forever.
