Wowhead Quick Link
Mouse over and press CTRL-C on (almost) anything to generate a Wowhead or Armory link. Allows you to quickly look up anything on Wowhead without having to manually search for it. Lightweight and efficient.
Supports generating links to the Wowhead page for quests, achievements, items, spells, buffs, NPCs, mounts, battle pets, factions, or currencies by pressing CTRL-C while mousing over, as well as armory links for player characters.
Now also supports Raider.IO links by pressing CTRL-SHIFT-C.
Configuration
The default keybind CTRL-C can be changed in Key Bindings -> AddOns -> Wowhead Quick Link -> Generate Wowhead link.
The link can be customized with a prefix and suffix by typing /wql, to e.g. change to the German version of Wowhead (de.wowhead.com), or go directly to the comments section (wowhead.com#comments).
Suggestions and feedback are welcome!

Fixed in v2.9.3.
Hey your addon is a lifesaver. Really Nice. Thank you.
Could you make it possible to get links for vendors showing in all the things please? Items work but Pets and vendor unfortunetely don't
This add-on is great, but one request I'd have for retrieving the quest link would be to put a button in the quest log, maybe to the right of or under the Quest Title, called "Get WowHead Link" that would do the same thing as Ctrl-C.
My use case for this add-on is to open the quest on WowHead and import the text in a language translator app. I'm planning to make a video on how to do it with this add-on if you are ok with it. You saved me the work of having to write and maintain this add-on myself.
I'd eventually like to bypass WowHead all together with this, but baby steps.
most of the copied links are sent to quests, and not to the element that I copy. (WowheadQuickLink-2.9.1)
In reply to zh3rtwa:
Which specific elements are you trying to copy where a quest link is wrongly generated? And is this on retail or classic?
In reply to Blurish:
I’m trying to copy talents to see their characteristics on the site. it's in classic
In reply to Blurish:
It is not copied correctly on the panel of skills; in spells, it is also copied incorrectly. Sends to different quests.
Keybind isn't set by default but once you set it up it works.
could we maybe get support for TransmogWishList (https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/transmogwishlist) I'd love that!
Keybinding is resetting to nothing.
If I reset it to "Ctrl-C" it works for a while. After several reloadui or logout and back on, it resets to nothing.
In reply to fireymerlin:
Yes. This is absolutely obnoxious. anytime you do anything, the keybind is removed. Personally I enable/disable addons a lot, across an army of alts... so EVERY time I go to use quick link, I have to go in and re-assign the damn keybind which turns the MOST useful addon I have into "not so much". As I recall I stopped using linkgrabber in favor of quick link for this very reason... and it was fine for a long time... so its a little maddening that quick link does the same thing now.
This is a great addon, Pretty Please.... address this issue or at least respond.
In reply to fireymerlin and Yawhatever:
The keybindings being reset upon /reload has been a known issue for quite a while, but should finally be fixed with release 2.9.1 (thanks to @vaindil on GitHub)
add-on link - https://raider.io/characters/eu/СвежевательДуш/nickname
correct link - https://raider.io/characters/eu/soulflayer/nickname
the addon must indicate the name of the server in English, but does not
Armory link also not friends with Russian servers
fix it pls
Raider.io does not work for me, does not generate a link, the CTRL + C key combination for wowhead is also not saved, after the / reload command the key combination assigned empty - none
In reply to enllie:
Were you mousing over someone, pressing ctrl+shift+c, and nothing happened? If so, could you check if the keybind for "Generate Raider.IO Link" is set?
The keybind getting unbound after a reload is a known issue - a relog will rebind the key.
In reply to Blurish:
Hi. I manually asigned key combination for raider.io it still not working for me, absolutely no effect, yes I mousing over item or npc, wowhead works
In Classic, starting from version 2.7.6 and still in 2.7.8, getting the following error on login:
"...dOns\\WowheadQuickLink\\WowheadQuickLinkStrategies.lua:283: hooksecurefunc(): SetRecipeReagentItem is not a function"
In reply to CaptWhyNot:
Thank you, fixed in version 2.7.9.
In reply to Blurish:
Works well. Thanks for the fix.
