What's new

v1.2.0

A third window shows the attacks you can reach right now, every window can be laid out like an action bar, and moving them works just like Edit Mode.

Range window (new)

  • Shows the attacks and debuffs on your action bars that are in range of your target, up to twelve, in action bar order. Each one disappears as soon as your target moves out of its range.
  • Spells with a minimum range count too: Charge shows only while your target is 8–25 yards away.
  • Buffs, heals and passives are left out, and so is anything your bar greys out (Growl in Cat Form, a pet ability with no pet). Each icon has its keybind, cooldown sweep (global cooldown included, like the bars) and charges.
  • Range ignore list for each character, for spells you cast on an enemy that aren't part of a fight, such as Tame Beast: drag a spell into the box (Options → AddOns → GlanceCast → Range ignore list) from your spellbook or an action bar. Right-click an icon to let it back in.
  • Follows your shapeshift forms: switching form swaps in that form's bar right away.

Layout

  • Rows or columns: the proc and range windows can be horizontal or vertical, and wrap into up to four rows or columns, like an action bar in Edit Mode.
  • Fill directions: icons fill each row left to right, right to left or from the center (top to bottom, bottom to top or centered for columns), and extra rows or columns stack either way. Your current left/right/centered choice carries over.
  • Opacity for each window, from 10% to 100%.

Moving the windows

  • Edit Mode moves them too: opening Edit Mode unlocks GlanceCast's windows alongside Blizzard's, and closing it locks them again.
  • Unlocked windows now look like action bars in Edit Mode: a blue highlight that shows each window's full size, turning yellow under the mouse or while you drag.

Proc window

  • A proc whose action bar button is greyed out (a form change, say) leaves the window until it can be pressed again.

Settings

  • Everything is set in the settings panel now. /glancecast opens it, and the other /glancecast commands and the /gc shortcut are gone.
