This update introduces language favorites, additional communication methods, and improvements to cross-faction and cross-realm speech relay.

Languages & Interface

• Added Favorite Languages. Save your preferred languages for quick access.
• Added a Favorites section to the language menu.
• Added an option to manage favorites directly from the language list.
• Previous, Next, and the mini language button now cycle through favorites only.
• Language favorites and preferences are saved per character.
• Added <None> as a language selection, allowing players to use normal Blizzard chat without disabling Gibber Gabber.

Communication & Translation

• Added support for addon messaging through a shared custom chat channel.
• Added optional automatic joining of the GibberGabberRP channel.
• Expanded player discovery through targeting, mouseover, and supported addon communication routes.
• Added optional guild communication and peer forwarding.
• Improved direct communication attempts and reduced unsupported cross-faction whisper requests.
• Improved speech packet validation, duplicate handling, and sender identification.
• Expanded relay diagnostics to help identify failed or unavailable connections.

Shared Channel Commands

• /gg relay channel on — Enable shared channel communication.
• /gg relay channel off — Disable shared channel communication.
• /gg relay channel status — Check channel connection status.
• /gg relay channel name GibberGabberRP — Set the shared channel name.
• /gg relay check — View available communication routes and diagnostics.

Compatibility

Existing Battle.net, party, raid, guild, and supported direct addon communication methods remain available.

The shared channel provides another communication option but requires both players to have access to the same channel. Cross-faction and cross-realm communication remains dependent on Blizzard's supported connection methods.

Known Limitations

• Cross-faction translation between players without an established communication route remains experimental.
• Shared custom channels may not connect opposing factions in every situation.
• Overhead chat bubble translation depends on Blizzard's available APIs.
• Both players must have Gibber Gabber installed and select the same language for addon-based comprehension.
