ForeverGuildManager

ForeverGuildManager is a guild management addon created specifically for World of Warcraft: Forever.

It helps officers keep large guild rosters organized by grouping Main characters and Twinks, tracking inactivity, identifying cleanup candidates and preparing manual guild-management tasks where the Forever client blocks protected addon actions.

The addon is designed around the WoW Forever naming system and fully supports first name + last name character names.

Main / Twink System

ForeverGuildManager can group multiple guild characters under one Main character.

Automatic grouping uses Officer Notes only.

Example:

Twink:
Mevara Everwhisper

Officer Note:
Lysera Everwhisper

ForeverGuildManager will then display Mevara as a Twink of Lysera.

Public guild notes are never used for automatic Main / Twink detection.

Manual assignments are also supported directly inside the addon.

WoW Forever Name Support

WoW Forever uses character names with both a first name and a last name.

ForeverGuildManager is built around this system and always works with complete character names.

Activity Tracking

ForeverGuildManager tracks guild activity based on the last online information provided by the guild roster.

Default thresholds:

• 30 days — Watch
• 60 days — Inactive
• 90 days — Cleanup candidate

These values can be changed in the settings.

Cleanup

The Cleanup tab helps officers review the guild roster without manually checking every character.

Groups can be sorted by activity and filtered live.

The addon highlights:

• active groups
• players that should be watched
• inactive players
• cleanup candidates

Officer Tasks

Some guild-management actions are protected by the WoW Forever client and cannot safely be executed directly by addons.

ForeverGuildManager therefore includes an Officer Tasks workflow.

The addon can identify tasks such as:

• Twink rank still needs to be changed
• Officer Note still needs to be entered
• Main / Twink assignment needs review
• cleanup candidate needs to be checked

For Officer Note tasks, the expected Main character name can be selected and copied quickly for manual entry.

Protected Guild Actions

The WoW Forever client currently protects several guild-management functions from direct addon execution.

Because of this, ForeverGuildManager does not attempt to bypass protected actions.

Depending on the client, the following actions may still require manual confirmation or execution:

• changing guild ranks
• editing Officer Notes
• removing guild members

ForeverGuildManager prepares these tasks and reduces the amount of manual searching and comparison required.

Minimap Button

ForeverGuildManager includes its own minimap button.

Left click:
Open / close ForeverGuildManager

The minimap position is saved automatically.

All required libraries are included with the addon.

Languages

ForeverGuildManager includes:

• English

The addon starts in German on German WoW clients and in English on other client languages.

Slash Command

/fgm

opens ForeverGuildManager.

Saved Data

Settings and assignments are stored per guild.

This includes:

• manual Main / Twink assignments
• inactivity thresholds
• language settings
• UI settings

Behavior may differ from official retail, Classic or other custom WoW clients because the available guild APIs are different.
