Description
Blizzard's action bars on Forever come from the modern game, and Forever leaves old spell ranks on your buttons when you train a new one. Foreverbound replaces the bars with its own, in one clean style, and keeps your ranks current.
What it does
- Eight bars of your own: the main bar and bars 2 to 8, each switched on or off, with 1 to 12 buttons, buttons per row, size, opacity and spacing. The main bar pages by stance and form, vehicle, possession and override, and by manual page, in combat too.
- Your keys, unchanged. Foreverbound uses the bindings you already have, and Blizzard's Quick Keybind Mode works on every button.
- Spell ranks stay up to date. When you learn a higher rank, the buttons that held the rank below it get the new one, as classic WoW did. A lower rank kept on purpose is left alone, so downranking still works.
- Everything a button should show: cooldowns, charges, item counts, key labels, macro names, range and usable colours, the action in progress, equipped items and procs.
- Choose when each bar shows: always, in combat or out of it, hidden while mounted, with no target or when empty, and fade a bar until the mouse is over it.
- A micro menu, bag bar, stance and pet bars, vehicle exit and extra action buttons, and experience and reputation bars in the same style; each can be moved, resized, faded and docked to a screen edge, where it can fold away.
- Move the bars with
/fb unlock, and each character keeps its own bars. - Plays well with EllesmereUI: with its Action Bars on, Foreverbound stands aside and says so;
/fb use oursruns Foreverbound instead.
/fb opens the settings, a page for each bar. /fb status says what each bar is doing.
Not yet: the possess bar and the totem bar stay Blizzard's for now.
