FishFry Forever 1.5.5 — Beneath the Surface

Giving Zone Info a little more to say!

After moving much of Zone Info's information into its dedicated tabs, the initial Notes sections of many Zone Info cards were left feeling rather barren.

FishFry 1.5.5 addresses this by expanding and reorganizing the Notes across all 59 zones, bringing Fishing requirements, available catches, fishing locations, pools, trainers, vendors, recipes, and other useful information directly into the main Notes.

This is primarily an informational update focused on Zone Info → Notes, with very minimal functional code changes to support additional Wiki links and easier access to the project's CurseForge page.

Zone Info — Expanded Notes for All 59 Zones

Every Zone Info card has received a comprehensive Notes pass.

• Expanded sparse Notes into useful regional Fishing summaries.
• Reorganized existing detailed Notes for consistency and readability.
• Added minimum effective Fishing requirements and effective Fishing targets for a 100% catch rate where available.
• Included separate Fishing requirements for areas with multiple water difficulties, such as Azshara's Bay of Storms.
• Added sentence-based lists of available fish, named fishing locations, pool types, and special fishing features.
• Included Fishing and Cooking trainers, their training ranges, and relevant profession services.
• Added Fishing suppliers, fish-Cooking recipe vendors, and notable items.
• Expanded information about unusual catches, bloated fish, salvage, trunks, crates, and special fishing rewards.
• Incorporated relevant regional instructions, seasonal catches, and time-of-day Fishing information.

Detailed zones such as Riverglades, Stormwind City, Stranglethorn Vale, and the City of Dalaran received additional organization and expanded contextual information.

Fishing Locations & Waypoints

Fishing locations and coordinate-backed NPCs are presented as inline waypoint links, allowing players to select the location name directly from the Notes.

For zones without available fishing-location coordinates, Notes now include a request for community contributions, inviting players to share additional information through CurseForge.

These entries conclude with Coming soon.

Expanded Easy Wiki Links

Zone Info Notes now recognize additional existing Easy Wiki records directly within their text.

New inline linking support includes:

• Bloated fish and other unusual Fishing catches.
• Fishing salvage, including trunks and crates.
• Fishing schools and named pool types.
• Wreckage and special fishing pools.

These entries use FishFry's established semantic coloring and open their corresponding Easy Wiki pages when selected.

This makes the Notes a more useful starting point for exploring the detailed information already available throughout FishFry.

Zone Info — Community Feedback

Added a consistent feedback footer beneath the Zone Info Notes.

Players are invited to suggest missing information, additional fishing locations, and other useful regional details through the FishFry Forever CurseForge comments.

• Added a compact, muted feedback message beneath the Notes.
• Added a clickable About link for quick navigation to the About page.
• Added FishFry Forever's CurseForge project address to About Overview.
• The project URL can be selected and copied directly from the About page for use in a browser.

The new footer gives players a convenient way to contribute information that can help expand FishFry's regional fishing coverage.
