ElmoPlater

Native-position nameplates with personal debuffs, health percentages and visual priority for Classic Era and Forever.

ElmoPlater

Custom nameplates with personal debuffs, health percentages and configurable visual priority for WoW Classic Era 1.15.9 and Forever 1.60.1.

Features

  • Solid health bars with name, level and health percentage.
  • Red hostile units and attackable neutrals in combat, yellow attackable neutrals out of combat, green friendly non-attackable units. Denied taps are grey and marked CLAIMED.
  • Contrasting borders and difficulty-coloured levels.
  • Your harmful debuffs above each nameplate, with remaining time and stack count. Other players' and pets' debuffs are excluded.
  • The mob selected by your priority rules gets a bar twice the usual height. Only mobs you attacked during the current combat qualify; your current target participates in the same rules.

Rules Manager

Open /eplater to create, edit, duplicate, enable/disable, remove and reorder rules. Dropdown menus choose learned debuffs, abilities and options without entering spell IDs.

Available rule types:

  • Health below threshold: an editable percentage, initially 20%.
  • Missing debuff: checks your debuff and the usability, resources and cooldown of its cast ability. The global cooldown is ignored.
  • Lowest health (attacked mobs): lowest remaining absolute HP among mobs you attacked.

Rules run from top to bottom; the first matching enabled rule wins. All health priorities are ordinary editable rules. If no rule matches, no bar receives the priority enlargement. Put a general lowest-health rule last when you want it to act as the final choice.

Additional conditions support comparison operators, AND/OR and parentheses. Debuff rules can prefer mobs already partly covered by other configured debuffs. Learned personal debuffs populate the menus after you apply them. Settings are saved per character.

Install and commands

Choose classic (Interface 11509) or forever (Interface 16001). Extract ElmoPlater into the matching client's Interface/AddOns folder. Update existing installations with a UI reload; restart WoW when installing the addon for the first time. Use as an alternative to other nameplate skins. English interface; no Plater dependency.

/elmoplater and /eplater open the Rules Manager. Older /cplater and /ctarget aliases remain supported.

Selection uses WoW's native click regions; the addon does not target arbitrary GUIDs. Native containment and overlapping click priority remain controlled by the client. When identity or health is private, Blizzard's artwork stays visible. Restricted aura data is not treated as a missing debuff. When combat logs are restricted, visible personal auras can identify attacked mobs, but damage-only attack history is unavailable.

Automated API checks cover both packages. Actual rendering and native overlap behavior still require in-game verification, especially on Forever.
