CritMatic remembers your biggest crit and biggest normal hit ever for every spell and ability you cast, then shows that info in your spell tooltips, your spellbook, your action bars, and a dedicated log window. A note on Retail (Midnight 12.0+)

CritMatic is intentionally not supported on retail Midnight. Patch 12.0 introduced a "Secret Values" restriction that blocks unprivileged addons from registering COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED, the event CritMatic uses to record crits. Without that event there is no addon. Ace3 maintainer nevcairiel summarized the situation as "Blizzard blocked the ability to use the COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED event."

Rather than ship a retail-listed addon that can't perform its core function, retail is dropped until Blizzard relaxes the restriction. Classic flavors remain fully supported and unaffected.

Per-spell highest-ever crit and normal hit, tracked across sessions, persisted per character.

Tooltip integration - hover any spell in your spellbook, on your action bars, or in chat and see your personal best for that ability.

Crit Log window - sortable list of every spell you've recorded, with icons, current best, and previous best for context. Resizable, repositionable, position remembered across /reload and relog.

Crit and Normal alerts - optional pop-up notifications when you set a new personal best, with a configurable font, font size, color, and outline.

Optional sound effects on new crits / normal hits / heal crits, choose from bundled sounds or any LibSharedMedia sound.

Per-spell ignore list - silence specific spells you don't care about, plus a per-target ignore list.

In-game changelog popup on first login after an update.

Localized in enUS, deDE, esES, esMX, frFR, itIT, koKR, ptBR, ruRU, zhCN, zhTW.
