Copybara Reforged

Copybara is back as Copybara Reforged.

Keep your chat tabs and settings when you switch characters. Copybara Reforged lets you copy a saved setup or transfer it with an export string, without setting up each window again.

Using EllesmereUI?

Copybara is also included in TustUI. Use it there alongside TustUI's expanded chat features.

What it copies

• Chat window names, size, position and docking
• Font size, colors and transparency
• Message groups and channel selections

Copy settings to another character

1. Enable Copybara Reforged on the character whose settings you want to copy, then log out to save them.
2. On your other character, open Settings > AddOns > Copybara Reforged.
3. Choose the saved character and click Apply.

Applying settings reloads the UI.

Import and export

Choose a saved character and click Export. Copy the string, paste it into Copybara Reforged on your other character and click Import. A successful import reloads the UI.

Before you install

This beta is for WoW Retail. Back up your chat settings and existing Copybara saved data before trying it. For manual installation, place the Copybara folder inside Interface/AddOns and keep only one installation.

Forever support is planned. Testing will begin when access is available.

Credits and support

Copybara Reforged continues the original Copybara by MickeyPickey. Thank you for the work that started it. Original credits and library notices are retained.
