CooldownAlert

Never miss a cooldown again. CooldownAlert provides clear, customizable notifications when your abilities become ready in WoW: Forever 1.60.1 and TBC Classic 2.5.6.

The addon automatically detects your class and learned abilities, including active talent abilities, and updates when your spellbook changes.

Features

• Cooldown alerts: Get notified when selected abilities become ready, regardless of cooldown length. Global cooldowns are ignored.
• Automatic ability detection: Tracks learned abilities, groups spell ranks, and updates after learning spells or changing talents.
• Warrior shout reminders: Receive warnings before or when Battle Shout, Commanding Shout, or Demoralizing Shout expires.
• Customizable appearance: Adjust icon size, font size, overall scale, display duration, and alert position.
• Sound selection: Choose from built-in WoW sounds, 20 bundled alert sounds, and sounds provided by loaded SharedMedia addons.
• Individual controls: Enable or disable tracking and sound for each ability.
• Charge support: Choose alerts for the first available charge or when all charges are restored.
• Combat-only mode: Keep notifications limited to combat.
• Minimap button: Quickly access settings and preview alerts.
• English and German interface: Settings are saved separately for each character.

Warrior Shout Tracking

Battle Shout and Commanding Shout are monitored on your character. Demoralizing Shout is monitored on your current hostile target.

Choose a warning 1–30 seconds before expiration, a notification when the effect expires, or both. Refreshing an effect or switching targets cancels outdated warnings.

Installation

Extract the CooldownAlert folder into your game’s Interface/AddOns/ directory, restart WoW, and enable the addon.

No additional addons are required. Install the same package in each supported game client.

Cooldown readiness does not check resources, stance, equipment, or other casting requirements. Item, trinket, and pet cooldowns are not currently tracked.
