Consumable Watcher

Never pull a boss without your flask, food, weapon oil or group buffs again.

Consumable Watcher tells you what’s missing on you and your group: flask, food, weapon oils and enchants, poisons, ammo, healthstones and class buffs. It shows on a ready check, before the pull, and even during combat. It’s rebuilt from scratch for the new aura rules, with one addon for Retail (12.0 – 12.1.7) and WoW Forever (16001).

✅ What it checks

• Weapon enchants / oils: main hand and off hand. That covers wizard and mana oils, sharpening and weight stones, shaman imbues and Classic rogue poisons. It shows the weapon you’re holding and warns before the enchant runs out.
• Flask / Elixir: on Forever, an elixir counts too.
• Food buff: warns when it’s missing or about to expire.
• Healthstone: when a warlock is in your group and you have none in your bags. All Classic ranks count.
• Ammo (WoW Forever): warns when your arrows, bullets or bolts run low or out while you’re using a bow, gun or crossbow. The low-ammo limit is adjustable.
• Rogue poisons and augment rune (Retail).
• Repair warning: when your gear durability drops below a percentage you choose.
• “Expiring soon”: warns a few minutes (adjustable) before an enchant, flask, food or poison runs out.

👥 Group buffs (clickable!)

• Shows which class buffs your group is missing, but only buffs that someone in the group can actually give.
• WoW Forever: every Classic rank (1–60) counts:
  • Mark of the Wild 1–7 and Gift of the Wild
  • Power Word: Fortitude 1–6 and Prayer of Fortitude
  • Arcane Intellect 1–5 and Arcane Brilliance
  • Battle Shout 1–7
  • Divine Spirit and Prayer of Spirit
  • Shadow Protection and Prayer of Shadow Protection
• Retail: Mark of the Wild, Power Word: Fortitude, Arcane Intellect, Battle Shout, Blessing of the Bronze and more.
• Click to cast: left-click a glowing icon (a buff you can cast) to buff whoever is missing it.
  • It uses the group version (Gift / Prayer / Brilliance) when you know it, have the reagent, and more than one person needs it.
• Click to ask for a rebuff: posts “Rebuff Arcane Intellect” in party or raid chat, optionally with the names of who’s missing it.
  • On your own buffs, it’s a right-click.
  • It only posts out of combat.
• Hover any icon to see who’s missing it.

⚔️ Works in combat

In combat, boss fights, Mythic+ and PvP, the game hides buff data from addons. Consumable Watcher works around this the same way as Extra Bleed Tracker: the game itself draws whether a buff is there, using Blizzard’s own aura widget. The addon never reads the buff, so nothing is blocked and nothing errors.

• Your flask or elixir and (on Retail) your poisons light up red if they drop mid-fight.
• Group buff icons count down as people get buffed and disappear once everyone has it.
• The group buff panel stays clickable in combat, so you can still rebuff.
• Weapon enchants, ammo and healthstones keep showing in combat, because the game never hides those.
• Sound when a buff drops: the game plays a warning sound when your flask, food, poison or rune runs out. This works even in boss fights and Mythic+.
• Food isn’t shown in combat, because you can’t eat then.

🔔 When it shows

• On a ready check, for a few seconds (adjustable).
• Always when something is missing: out of combat, in a group.
• Can also show when you’re solo, and can be hidden in cities and inns.
• Mythic+ reminders (Retail): at key start, every few minutes and after you die, since buffs can’t be read during a key.

⚙️ Options

Type /cw for a clean options window. Every toggle has its own icon, which turns grey when the option is off.

• Choose exactly what gets checked, and when.
• Set the icon size and text size, and turn bouncing text and sound on or off.
• Move every panel, including the in-combat view.
