Description
Conditional Radio
Your own soundtrack for WoW Forever. You set the rules, it picks the music.
Battle music on every pull, the main theme for a boss, tavern songs in town, your own MP3 while you fly. Whenever one of your rules fits, Conditional Radio plays the track you picked instead of the game's music. When no rule fits, the game's own music plays as usual.
Rules
Each rule is a condition and a track. The conditions:
- Boss fight: any boss, or only the ones you name
- In combat
- In a zone or in a sub-zone: Elwynn Forest, Goldshire, the Trade District...
- Mounted, or flying / on a flight path
- Resting, in a city or an inn
- In a dungeon, raid, battleground or arena
- Anywhere, as a fallback
You can limit any rule to certain zones: battle music only in Stranglethorn, travel music only in the Barrens. Rules are checked from the top and the first one that fits wins, so a boss fight can beat combat and combat can beat a zone. Move rules up and down to set the order.
The music
- WoW's own music: over 300 tracks. Login themes, every capital city, zone themes, taverns, battle music, Ahn'Qiraj, Naxxramas and PvP, plus favorites from later expansions like Nagrand, Grizzly Hills and Dalaran. You can preview any track in the addon.
- Random: a rule can play a random track from a list (any battle track, any Stormwind theme), and it picks a different one each time.
- Your own files: put MP3 or OGG files in the addon's
Musicfolder, restart the game, and add them on the Tracks page.
Only you hear the music, at the game's Music volume.
Small touches
- Battle music keeps playing for a few seconds after a fight, so it doesn't switch back and forth between pulls. You choose how long.
- A random track keeps playing until its rule ends.
/radio nextskips to another one. - The rules list shows which rule is playing now, and whether each rule fits where you are.
- Add this zone types in the name of the zone you're standing in.

Compatibility
Made and tested on WoW Forever. The tracks under Later expansions come from other expansions, and Forever's game files may not have all of them. The Preview button tells you if one is missing.
