What's new
CompanionCollection 1.3.8
Filter State Separation
-
Separated filter states between the standalone CompanionCollection window and Blizzard's Mount and Pet collection interfaces.
-
Filters enabled in CompanionCollection no longer remain invisibly active inside Blizzard's collection windows.
-
Mount and Pet filter states are stored independently for each interface.
-
Custom filter Active/Passive states, locked filters, and collection display modes are now tracked separately per window context.
-
Custom filter definitions and collection assignments remain shared, so categories and assigned mounts or pets do not need to be maintained twice.
Shortcut Button Separation
-
Shortcut button configurations are now separated between CompanionCollection and Blizzard's collection interfaces.
-
Each interface can have its own shortcut buttons, button order, and visibility settings.
-
Existing shortcut configurations are migrated to both interfaces when upgrading and can then be changed independently.
-
Filter shortcut buttons now affect only the interface in which they are used.
-
Quick Assignment mode is also separated between CompanionCollection and Blizzard's collection windows, preventing actions in one interface from affecting the other.
Shortcut Filter Toggle Fixes
-
Fixed shortcut filters not being removable by clicking the same button a second time.
-
Left-clicking an inactive shortcut filter now enables it, while clicking the active shortcut again clears it.
-
Fixed the underlying Lua toggle logic that prevented filter values from being reset correctly.
-
Applied the fix consistently to:
-
Custom filters
-
Active/Passive filter states
-
Expansion filters
-
Family filters
-
Standard shortcut filters
-
Extended/Private MJE-based filters
-
-
Locked filters continue to remain protected until explicitly unlocked.
Additional Improvements
-
Improved cleanup of obsolete custom filter selections and locks across both interface contexts.
-
Preserved compatibility with existing CompanionCollection profiles, filter definitions, assignments, and SavedVariables.
